Liuyang No.1 Middle School belongs to Cuiyuan Community, and Liuyang No.1 Middle School is located on the Liuyang River in Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province, belonging to Cuiyuan Community. The school was founded in 1929, formerly known as Liuyang Public School. Its school-running history can be traced back to the New Arithmetic Society founded by revolutionary martyr Tan Sitong in the 21st year of Guangxu (1895).
