Brief introduction of Hangzhou grand theatre cinema
With its unique architectural modeling, perfect performance function and advanced stage technology, Hangzhou Grand Theatre has become the most modern symbolic cultural facility in China. Hangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in the southwest and Hangzhou Administrative Center in the northwest, with a total area of about 654.38+10,000 square meters and a construction area of 55,000 square meters. The architectural design scheme was designed by Carlos Ott, a famous Canadian designer. The main facilities include 1600 opera houses, 600 concert halls, 400 variable theaters, 700 sunken amphitheaters and outdoor cultural squares. The architectural modeling of Hangzhou Grand Theatre is very unique and poetic. The silver metal roof is paved with imported titanium plates, symbolizing pearls; The hyperboloid glass curtain wall with large slope symbolizes a bright moon; The shallow water area of 6000 square meters in front of the Grand Theatre symbolizes the West Lake in Hangzhou. The public hall is the gathering place of people and cars in the opera house, concert hall and multi-function hall, and it is also the symbolic space of the Grand Theatre. The hall is crescent-shaped and divided into two halls, east and west. The total length of the Opera House is 180m, the width is 18.5m and the height is 35m.. In architectural design, the hall has a patchwork and varied space, so the interior design strives to strengthen this feature with lights, colors and materials. The ground division echoes the architectural plane, emphasizing the unity and perfection of space. The granite floor with uniform texture has a simple background and a large area of arc luminous wall, thus forming a unique and rich artistic atmosphere; The cherry wood wall in the middle is calm and elegant against the light; The stairs on the second to fourth floors and each floor are composed of various light components, such as light gray painted metal plates, railing nodes with a sense of components, light and exquisite stair treads, etc., which are in sharp contrast with the magnificent background wall.

As the fourth performance area, the outdoor theater is located on the west side of the whole building complex, embedded in nearly 6000 square meters of water with a water depth of about 60 cm, and combined with the main building of the Grand Theatre into a perfect whole. The whole amphitheater is modeled after the classical architectural style of ancient Rome. Center Stage is surrounded by seats, and the whole amphitheater is surrounded by pools, just like the reflection of the grand theater in the water. The whole theater can accommodate about 700 people. Hangzhou Grand Theatre is specially equipped with a set of mobile lighting and sound equipment for the square performance of the open-air theater.
