Her staged experimental report "Implementing Small Class Education and Developing Multiple Intelligences" was exchanged at the Zhejiang Small Class Teaching Seminar. The paper "Strategies for Implementing Individualized Education in Classroom Teaching" won the third prize in the second teaching paper evaluation of small class education in Hangzhou. As a result of actively carrying out experimental research on small-class education, the school has become the governing unit of provincial and municipal small-class education research associations, the experimental base school of small-class education in Hangzhou and the experimental school of small-class education in Jianggan District.
At the same time, Dean Tan also organized and participated in the research of other topics. Under her leadership, the project "WHO Nutrition and Health Education Promotion School" of the United Nations Health Organization passed the mid-term evaluation and acceptance.
The report of the project "Research on the Implementation of the New Curriculum of Moral Education in Primary Schools" won the first prize of the district paper appraisal and the second prize of the outstanding scientific research achievements of the first national basic education curriculum reform in Hangzhou.
