What is the transportation law enforcement brigade?
The responsibilities of the transportation comprehensive law enforcement brigade are:

1, responsible for the supervision and management of road and waterway traffic and waterway administrative punishment and administrative law enforcement in the county;

2, undertake the responsibility of road traffic and water traffic safety supervision;

3 responsible for water traffic control, inspection and registration of ships and related water facilities, pollution prevention, water fire protection, navigation security, emergency rescue, communication and navigation, and supervision and management of dangerous goods transportation;

4, responsible for the area of water transport industry, port industry management, water transport statistics, water transport research, water transport personnel training and production experience exchange, summary and promotion;

5, responsible for the preparation of water transport industry development planning, planning and feasibility review; 6, responsible for the management, maintenance and construction of waterway and port infrastructure within the jurisdiction.

1. The expressway has the right to intercept vehicles that exceed the limit when driving normally, and the scope of enforcement of the expressway is as follows:

1, an application for permission to dig, occupy or use highways, and to stop and investigate acts of destruction, damage or illegal occupation of highways;

2. Apply for permission for over-limit transportation, and stop and investigate illegal over-limit transportation;

3. Manage the setting and maintenance of highway ancillary facilities;

4. Manage the building control areas on both sides of the highway;

5. Manage the order of highway construction;

6. Participate in the design review and completion acceptance of road management matters involved in highway engineering;

7. Implement road patrol;

8. Other duties as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Second, the scope of law enforcement:

1, the application for permission to dig, occupy and utilize highways, and the acts of destroying, damaging or illegally occupying highways shall be stopped and investigated;

2. Apply for permission for over-limit transportation, and stop and investigate illegal over-limit transportation;

3. Manage the setting and maintenance of highway ancillary facilities;

4. Manage the building control areas on both sides of the highway;

5. Manage the order of highway construction;

6. Participate in the design review and completion acceptance of road management matters involved in highway engineering;

7. Implement road patrol;

8. Other duties as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Legal basis: Article 46 of the Code for Civilized Law Enforcement of Road Administration is under any of the following circumstances, road law enforcement officers may take the following administrative compulsory measures according to law:

(1) Causing damage to highways and highway ancillary facilities, refusing to accept on-site investigation and handling, and detaining vehicles or tools used for illegal activities;

(2) If the vehicle approved for out-of-gauge transportation fails to drive at the prescribed time, route and speed and refuses to make corrections, or fails to carry the vehicle pass for out-of-gauge transportation with the vehicle, detain the vehicle;

(three) deliberately blocking the traffic lane of the over-limit detection site, forcibly passing through the over-limit detection site or using short-distance barges to escape the over-limit detection, forcibly towing or detaining the vehicle;

(4) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
