China University of Political Science and Law, directly under the Ministry of Education, is committed to building world-class universities and disciplines. There are two campuses, Xueyuan Road in Haidian District and Fu Xue Road in Changping District. The school, formerly known as Beijing University of Political Science and Law, was founded on 1952 by the disciplines of law, political science and sociology of Peking University, Tsinghua University, yenching university and Fu Jen Catholic University. Comrade Mao Zedong personally wrote the name of the school.
It is a key university of "2 1 1 Project" with legal characteristics and advantages, and an innovative platform of "985 Project" and a key university of "201/Plan" in politics, economy, management, literature, history, philosophy, education and science and engineering.
Second, East China University of Political Science and Law
East China University of Political Science and Law is the first batch of higher political science and law institutions established in New China. 1In June, 952, with the approval of the East China Military Commission, the law departments, political departments and social departments of nine universities including St. John's University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Soochow University, Xiamen University, Hujiang University, Anhui University, Shanghai University and Aurora University merged, and East China University of Political Science and Law was established in the former site of St. John's University.
1958, the school was merged into Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences; 1963 rebuilt, enrolled students the following year; 1966 to stop enrollment, 1972 to cancel enrollment; 1March, 979, with the approval of the State Council, the school resumed classes for the second time. In March 2007, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed East China University of Political Science and Law. The school is a university managed by Shanghai.
Third, Southwest University of Political Science and Law
Southwest University of Political Science and Law is the earliest institution of higher learning of political science and law in New China. After the reform and opening up, the first batch of national key universities, the first batch of national education and training bases for outstanding legal talents, the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government * * * set up scholarships for overseas students from universities and the China Municipal Government to entrust training institutions, and the second phase of the Central and Western Universities Basic Ability Enhancement Plan was selected as universities.
The school, formerly known as Southwest People's Revolutionary University, was founded in 1950, and its president is Liu Bocheng. 1953, Southwest College of Political Science and Law was established on the basis of the Department of Political Science and Law of Southwest People's Revolutionary University. The first chairman was General Zhou Baozhong, the national hero of the Anti-Japanese War and the former commander-in-chief of the Second Route Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition.
20 16 was selected as the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest"; 20 17 was selected as a first-class discipline construction university in Chongqing. The school has Shapingba Campus, Yubei Campus and Baoshenghu Campus, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu. Among them, Yubei Campus is the teaching center for undergraduate and postgraduate education, and Shapingba Campus is the base for continuing education and cadre training.
Fourth, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
Zhongnan University of Economics and Law is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), focusing on economics, law and management, covering nine disciplines such as philosophy, literature, history, science, engineering and art. The school originated from Chung Yuan Christian University 1948 and was founded by the Central Central Plains Bureau with Deng Xiaoping as the first secretary and Chen Yi as the director of the preparatory committee.
