How to learn electric welding
Need to pay attention to two aspects:

1: Protective habit, and get into the habit of wearing welder's hood or welder's mask.

2. Gestures and posture habits, welding will be ugly at first, but to ensure the angle of covered electrode and materials, or the posture of vertical welding and squatting purple welding, we must start from contact welding.

Extended data:

Beginners learn welding skills and precautions in the early stage of welding;

1, welders must undergo professional training and pass the examination before they can operate independently with a safety operation certificate (they can operate step by step under the supervision of the master during the apprenticeship training).

2. Welders must wear work clothes and use protective articles (including insulating gloves, insulating rubber boots and masks) according to regulations, and the workplace pressure meets the safety requirements.

3. Before work, carefully check whether the welding machine is normal, whether the insulation is good, and the shell of the welding machine must be well grounded.

4. The power cord and the secondary circuit must be complete and well insulated, and cannot be replaced by other objects. It is strictly prohibited to put it on the metal structure of equipment, cables, pipes, containers and factories.

5, in the no-fire area and inflammable and explosive parts or toxic places, hot work must go through the formalities and fill in the hot work permit, and construction can only be carried out after analysis and approval.

6, electrode holder must be well insulated, wiring should be strong and bandaged, to avoid electric shock caused by looseness.

7. Flammable and explosive articles shall not be stored in the welding workplace, and measures shall be taken to prevent welding slag from flying and causing other dangers.

8, lines or electrical equipment failure, must be maintained by an electrician, it is forbidden to other people touch.

Electric welding refers to a welding method that uses electric energy, heating or pressure, or both, with or without filler to realize atomic bonding of weldments. The processing equipment used for electric welding is called electric welding machine.

According to the different heating and pressure conditions during welding, welding methods are usually divided into fusion welding, pressure welding and brazing.

Fusion welding is a method of heating the metal at the weld of the weldment to a molten state during welding, and generally completing the welding without pressure. When welding, the heat source makes the metal at the weld of the weldment and the filler metal added when necessary melt rapidly to form a molten pool, which extends with the movement of the heat source and forms a weld after cooling.

According to different electric heating methods, fusion welding using electric energy can be divided into arc welding, electroslag welding, electron beam welding and laser welding. Fusion welding is widely used in various welding methods, especially arc welding.

Brazing is a welding method in which materials (solder) with lower melting point than weldments are melted, then the weldments are bonded, and then the seams of weldments are connected together after cooling.

Welding smoothness

(1) loop ending method. When covered electrode moved to the end of the weld bead, he made a circular motion by wrist movement until the arc pit was filled, and then the arc was broken. This method is suitable for thick plate welding, and there is a danger of burning through when it is used for thin plate welding.

(2) Repeat arc extinguishing method. When covered electrode moves to the end of the weld bead, the arc goes out repeatedly and hits the arc pit several times until the arc pit is filled. This method is suitable for thin plate and high current welding, but it is not suitable for alkaline covered electrode, otherwise it will produce blowholes.
