Broadcasting and hosting art major is a major under the category of drama and film and television. Based on drama and film, literature, journalism and communication, this paper explores the law of program broadcasting and hosting art.

The major of broadcasting and hosting art in the School of Sports Science and Technology of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education was established on 20 14, which belongs to the news teaching and research section of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. Relying on school sports resources, this major focuses on the development of sports media, disciplines and industries, aiming at cultivating compound applied talents with sports thinking in language communication work such as broadcasting and hosting.

It has 60㎡ radio recording laboratory, 80㎡ TV virtual studio, 80㎡ nonlinear editing room and other hardware facilities.

Training objective: This major trains compound applied talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, and with multidisciplinary knowledge such as journalism and communication, China language and literature, drama and film.
