With the continuous improvement of creative skills, He Nailei's working environment has gradually changed. By the commune propaganda officer, to the township cultural station stationmaster, and then to the county cultural bureau deputy director. Although the environment has changed, He Nailei has always adhered to his simple feelings as a farmer painter. Over the years, he devoted himself to cultural undertakings with a sincere and passionate heart, and devoted his light and heat to the broad masses of farmers. Over the past few years, he has traveled to every township in Juxian County, coached more than 20 painting and calligraphy exhibitions and painted more than 2,000 paintings for farmers. More than 50 people have won awards or participated in exhibitions at or above the provincial level. In order to cultivate the backbone of farmers' calligraphy and painting, he gave lectures in towns and villages many times and trained more than 2,500 calligraphy and painting students.

His works have participated in many national art exhibitions and large-scale art exhibitions at home and abroad, and won many awards. 1994 went to Korea to hold a solo exhibition, 1997 went to Japan to hold a joint exhibition of four Chinese paintings. Won the gold medal, first prize, special prize and other major honors in the international painting and calligraphy competition. The work "Yimeng Love" was selected for the second national flower and bird exhibition and the world Chinese painting exhibition; Morning dew was selected for 300 Chinese painting exhibitions. In 2004, his work "Nostalgia" was selected into the first Chinese Painting Exhibition of China Artists Association. He published He Nailei's Paintings Collection, Selected Paintings of He Nailei, He Nailei's Hundred Plums, and He Nailei's Excellent Works as a Powerful Painter in China. His works were selected into the Collection of World Fine Arts, the Collection of Outstanding Talents in Contemporary Chinese Painting, the Collection of 100 Outstanding Chinese Painters, the Collection of Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painters, the Collection of 300 Chinese Paintings and the Collection of the Second National Flower and Bird Exhibition. Some works have been collected by the Great Hall of the People, Huairentang, Diaoyutai, Ministry of Culture, General Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government and Korean Embassy. On the second floor of the Great Hall of the People, plum blossom "Welcome to the East Wind" is hung, and peony "National Colors and Fragrance" is hung in the Zhongnanhai Ballroom. CCTV, China National Radio and Shandong Satellite TV made special reports on it.

While strengthening his self-cultivation and bravely climbing the artistic peak, He Nailei never forgets that he is a member of the CPPCC. He takes "giving love and returning to society" as his life goal and actively participates in social welfare undertakings. According to incomplete statistics, He Nailei donated more than 50 works of Hope Project, with cash of more than 200,000 yuan.
