Xiamen College of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou University ranks 52nd in the ranking list of national fine arts universities.

Xiamen Arts and Crafts College of Fuzhou University is one of the key construction colleges of Fuzhou University. College was established in 1952, and has two campuses, the old campus is located in Gulangyu Island, a national AAAAA scenic spot, and the new campus is located in jimei district University Town.

At present, there are two master's degree programs in fine arts and design (design is a plateau subject in Fujian Province), and design in 20021year was rated as the best subject in China. There are two authorized points for professional master's degree: Master of Arts and Industrial Design Engineering. There are 9 undergraduate majors: visual communication design, environmental design, arts and crafts, industrial design, product design, clothing design, digital media art, painting and sculpture.

The college has 3 1 13 students and 220 faculty members, including 54 full-time teachers. After several generations of long-term efforts, the college has made remarkable achievements in personnel training, scientific research, social service and international cooperation.

The College set up the "Experimental Class for Training Top-notch Innovative Research Talents" to explore a new mode of training top-notch innovative talents under the background of "Grand Design" and won the provincial teaching achievement award.

In the past five years, the College has successively been granted dozens of national social science fund projects, national art funds and provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, especially in the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the College has been granted three national projects, humanities and social science projects of the Ministry of Education 1, five provincial social science projects, and science and technology department projects 1. The quantity and quality of both national projects and overall projects have reached the best level in history.

The college has four provincial scientific research platforms and four provincial teaching centers (bases) and teams. College is a national intangible cultural heritage inheritor research and training unit, and held 10 learning and training courses.

The college pays attention to serving the society and improving its own construction level. Its works are exhibited in Fujian Hall of the Great Hall of the People and Taiwan Province Provincial Department. Many landmark sculptures in this area were created by our institute, such as Xiamen's landmark sculpture "Egret Goddess", Gulangyu's "Bohai Xiong Feng" group sculpture, marathon group sculpture around the island road, Xiamen's landscape sculpture around the East China Sea and so on. ?
