Is whiskey wine?
Whiskey is completely different from wine. First of all, whisky is distilled liquor, while wine is non-distilled liquor. Secondly, there are many raw materials for whisky, including wheat, barley, grains and even potatoes. The raw material of wine can only be grapes. These are the two most important differences. Others, because of distillation, the alcohol content of whisky is relatively high, generally 40-45 degrees. Wine has not been purified by distillation, so the alcohol content is relatively low, generally around 13- 15 degrees. What they have in common is that they are all stored in oak barrels.
