Article 9 The funds required for the security of retired military personnel shall be jointly borne by the central and local governments. Retired resettlement, education and training, pensions and preferential treatment funds are mainly borne by the central government.
Article 32 The State shall establish a system of education and training for retired military personnel in parallel with academic education and vocational skills training, establish a coordination mechanism for education and training for retired military personnel, and make overall plans for education and training for retired military personnel.
Article 48 People's governments at all levels shall adhere to the principle of superposition of universal benefits and preferential treatment, and give preferential treatment to retired soldiers on the basis of ensuring that they enjoy universal benefits and public services, in combination with their contributions during their active service and the actual situation in various places. The standard of preferential treatment for retired soldiers should be improved.
Article 49 The State shall gradually eliminate the urban-rural differences in the pension and preferential treatment system for retired servicemen, narrow the regional differences, and establish a balanced quantitative standard system for pension and preferential treatment.
Article 50 _ Retired soldiers shall participate in social insurance such as pension, medical care, work injury, unemployment and maternity according to law, and enjoy corresponding treatment. The service life of retired soldiers and the payment life of basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance and unemployment insurance for employees before and after enlistment are calculated according to law.
