Recently, the 20th meeting of the 13th the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) reviewed the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors (the second draft of the revised draft) and publicly solicited opinions. There are 72 articles in the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors (revised 20 12) and 30 articles in the revised draft, among which the chapter on "School Protection" has many adjustments, such as: Article 31 Schools should coordinate with parents or other guardians of minor students to arrange their study time reasonably to ensure their rest, entertainment and physical exercise time. Schools shall not occupy national statutory holidays, rest days and winter and summer vacations, and organize underage students to make up lessons collectively to increase their learning burden. Kindergartens may not carry out primary school curriculum education in advance. Thirty-sixth schools and kindergartens shall not arrange minors to participate in commercial activities, and shall not sell or require minors to buy designated goods and services. Schools and kindergartens shall not cooperate with off-campus training institutions to provide paid course counseling for minors.
