What is material chemistry really about?
Material chemistry is a branch of material science, which studies the chemical properties of new materials in the process of preparation, production, application and waste. The research scope covers the whole field of materials, including the chemical properties of inorganic and organic materials. It is a science that applies basic theories and methods to chemical-related problems in industrial production and carries out experiments according to the basic theories and methods of materials.

Material chemistry mainly trains pioneering, forward-looking and compound senior talents who master the basic theory and technology of material chemistry, have the basic knowledge and skills related to material chemistry, and can use the basic theory, basic knowledge and experimental skills of chemistry and material science to engage in the research, teaching, scientific and technological development and related management of material science and chemistry and related fields.
