Brief introduction of the dean:

Huo, Ph.D., Professor of Tongji University, Doctoral Supervisor, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Professor of DHL Company in Germany. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of logistics and supply chain management, management information system and enterprise management theory for a long time.

He has successively undertaken national, provincial and ministerial projects such as key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects, UTC fund projects of the United States, major scientific and technological key projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and key scientific and technological projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. Has presided over the management consulting and information system design of more than ten well-known enterprises such as Lianhua Supermarket, Baosteel Group, China Post and Anji Logistics. In 2004, he was awarded the first China Logistics Management Theory Contribution Award by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. In 2005 and 2009, he was awarded the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award for his research achievements in logistics decision-making system. In 2006, he was awarded the Science and Technology Progress Award by the Ministry of Education for his research achievements in logistics management in the supply chain environment. He has published more than 30 important academic papers and 2 monographs, and obtained 6 national software copyrights. He is also a member of the expert evaluation group of the Management Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a member of the National MPA Teaching Steering Committee, an executive director of China Management Science and Engineering Society, a vice chairman of Shanghai Management Society, and an independent director of listed companies.
