First, "Prison Song"
Modern: Ye Ting
The doors that people come in and out are locked,
The hole the dog climbed out of was open,
A voice shouted:
Climb out and set you free!
I long for freedom,
But I know very well-
How can a human body crawl out of a dog hole!
I hope that one day,
Underground fire,
Burn me with this living coffin,
I deserve to live forever in fire and blood!
Second, appreciation:
This poem exposes the ugly behavior and extremely weak nature of the Kuomintang reactionaries, shows the great integrity of the revolutionaries, and expresses the lofty aspirations and lofty sentiments of dedicating themselves to the revolution. The whole poem is easy to understand, such as blurting out, but the emotion is intense, the momentum is heroic and the artistic conception is clear and complete.
Third, the theme of the poem:
The road taken by revolutionaries is tightly locked by the enemy, but the road to surrender and betray the revolution and act as a shameful traitor is open. The reactionaries shouted at the top of their lungs: surrender! Give you freedom!
I long for freedom, but I deeply understand how a real revolutionary betrayed the revolution and gained freedom! I hope that one day, the torch of revolution will burn me with the prison of reactionaries, and I will be immortal in the struggle between fire and blood.
From 1962 to 1997, the poem "Prison Song" was selected into the primary school Chinese textbook for 30 times. Later, it was included in the textbook "Primary School Chinese" published by People's Education Publishing House.
