Why didn't Sun Dianying steal the tomb of Xiao Shenyang?
Sun Dianying is a famous "Dongling Thief" in history. Now, once someone mentions him, the first thing that comes to mind is the words "grave robber". The reason for this is that he once took the world by storm and did something that others dared not do, that is, ransacking the "Qing Dongling".

Sun Dianying's army is short of money. In order to solve the salary problem, he is going to rob the tomb! Even though the National Government has clearly stipulated that it is not allowed to damage the imperial tomb, Sun Dianying has long been salivating in the face of such a big piece of fat in the Qing Dongling.

Subsequently, Sun Dianying led his troops into the Qing Dongling in the name of eliminating bandits Ma Futian and military exercises. Then they secretly sent their own engineers with explosives to blow up the Ding Dong Mausoleum in Putuo Valley of Cixi, the Yuling Mausoleum in Ganling and the Jingling Mausoleum in Kangxi successively.

Of course, in addition, some emperors' palaces and bedrooms were stolen. It can be said that at this time, in addition to the emperor shunzhi's mausoleum, all other tombs, large and small, were more or less killed by Sun Dianying.

Then the problem is coming. Sun Dianying stole the tombs of Qianlong, Kangxi and Cixi. It can be said that the tomb of the Eastern Qing Dynasty was almost turned upside down, but why not steal the tomb of Xiao Shenyang, the richest man in the Great Qing Dynasty? The reason is actually very simple!

There are actually two reasons for this. One theory is that Xiao Shenyang did intend to build a large mausoleum of He Ling before his death as his place to live after his death. But before He Ling was built, the small Shenyang died, and then it was copied by Emperor Jiaqing, so He Ling had nothing of value, so it was naturally not worth stealing by Sun Dianying. Small Shenyang was finally buried in a hill, which was also very desolate.

Little Shenyang did spend a lot of money to build its own mausoleum in Jizhou (now Jixian), Hebei Province. People called it "Heling". However, little Shenyang was killed by Emperor Jiaqing before he could "patronize". The death of Xiao Shenyang was a warning to both inside and outside the imperial court. Xiao Shenyang was very powerful before his death, and many people flattered him, but no one dared to collect the body after his death.

According to relevant records, the place where Little Shenyang was buried is located in the center of Qiaoshui Reservoir. But now it has been flooded by the river.

It is said that every rainy season, as long as you stand on the bank of Daqiao Reservoir, you can see the top of the tomb.

So, in the face of such a "shabby" small grave, will Sun Dianying be tempted? Naturally not!

Although Sun Dianying's education level is not high, he knows more or less what happened in Shenyang, so he naturally won't steal his grave. Even if he wants to go, he may not find it!
