1978 graduated from Jiangsu Agricultural College, 1979 has been engaged in scientific research in the Institute of Economic Crops of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, 1985- 1987 trained in the Philippine International Rice Research Institute, and 1990 trained in the Egyptian International Agricultural Center. He used to be a researcher of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and director of cotton cultivation research office. Long-term engaged in cotton cultivation technology and physiological research, presided over more than 20 national, agricultural, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. Successfully completed various scientific research tasks and won more than 20 scientific research achievement awards. The research results have been widely used in cotton production and achieved remarkable social and economic benefits, which has played a positive role in the development of cotton cultivation discipline. He published more than 100 research papers. He is the author of professional works such as Cotton Cultivation Physiology, Cotton Industry in Contemporary World, Cotton Planting in China, New Techniques for High-yield Cultivation of Seedling Transplanting Cotton, and Insect-resistant Breeding in China. 200 1999 enjoyed special government allowance, and 200 1 was awarded the title of outstanding scientific and technological worker and advanced agricultural scientific and technological worker in Jiangsu province. In 2002, she was awarded the title of "Star of Women's Post" by the provincial authorities in Jiangsu Province, the title of "March 8th" red flag bearer in Jiangsu Province and the national "March 8th" red flag bearer in 2004. He is the executive director of China Cotton Association.
