Their average scores in cultural classes are lower than those of other majors, and their psychological and behavioral characteristics show certain uniqueness before entering the university.

Some teachers even think that design is a practical subject, and it is useless to learn theory. Actually, it is not. Like ordinary students, art students need a good learning environment and atmosphere. Environment can often directly affect a person's transformation. It is undeniable that many colleges and universities now hold an attitude of disgust and contempt for art students. Therefore, colleges and universities should start from the school environment, actively guide teachers and students to hold an understanding and supporting attitude towards art design students, and abandon old ideas.

(4) Scientifically equip full-time student management teachers and consider professional counterparts.

At present, many teachers (such as counselors and class teachers) who are engaged in the full-time management of art design students are not from art majors. Schools should give due consideration to their professional counterparts when they are equipped with full-time student management teachers. Try to send teachers with high ideological awareness, excellent political quality and the same professional background to take charge of student management, so as to make the work more targeted, improve work efficiency and better guide students.
