How to write a research plan at the beginning of a master's thesis
First, what do you want to write?

This focus is to summarize the existing literature, carefully introduce the existing research on related topics at home and abroad (first introduce the situation objectively and truthfully state the views of others), and then comment (after subjective discussion, evaluate and tell the shortcomings of existing research), saying that there are these studies now, but there are still many problems worth studying. It should include the questions you will discuss in the topic selection. Because of the lack of research at present, you should study it. Therefore, what you want to write for your master's thesis is based on literature review, not what you want to write. If you don't make a summary, it is very likely that your topic has been deepened by others.

Second, why write this?

This is mainly to explain the significance of your topic. It can be said that, in theory, if you find any shortcomings and research gaps in others, you will have theoretical value if you do it. Then you should be clear about the position of the topics you selected from the literature review in the whole related research field. This is the theoretical value.

Then we can talk about it from the actual value. It is what this topic may mean to reality, what use it may have in practice, and so on.

Third, how to write?

In the opening report, you should also explain clearly how to solve this problem after you choose this topic. If you have a question, how will you find the answer? Say your general idea, and at the same time, focus on what method you want to learn. Such as literature analysis, interviews, questionnaires, quantitative research, experimental research, theoretical analysis, model testing and so on.

Among the above three aspects, literature review is the key. Without literature review, you can't find your own topic, and you don't know how others are doing on this topic, so you should review it carefully. Of course, the purpose of review is to bring out your own topic, so don't forget to comment.

complex structure

In fact, when writing a thesis, we don't have to stick to an umbrella model. According to the internal logical connection of the content of the paper, we should conceive how to arrange and expand the essential parts of analysis, reasoning and refutation, so as to explain the problem comprehensively, accurately and concisely and use the "composite structure" flexibly. These modes are shown in Figure 2-7, Figure 2-8 and Figure 2-9.

Umbrella structure is often used to write the text of academic papers, and umbrella structure is the main framework of the paper. Its specific form is usually shown in Figure 2- 10.

Titles and serial numbers are often used in academic papers because they can clearly highlight the main content of the paper, make the structure clear, and have a neat, orderly and gradual rhythm aesthetic feeling.

Title and serial number can be divided into several levels, and the commonly used numbering systems are:

Idaho (short for Idaho) ... (Title)

II ... (Subtitle)

1 ... (subhead)

(1) ... (state the facts)

Writing method of graduation design thesis

Graduation design thesis is the summary and improvement of graduation design work. Just like scientific research and development, we should have a rigorous and realistic scientific attitude. Graduation design thesis should have certain academic and practical value, which can reflect the author's professional basic knowledge and ability to analyze and solve problems.

During the graduation project, it is very important to read as many documents as possible, which can not only prevent repeated research, but also make technical preparations for graduation project and learn the writing methods of papers. An excellent paper is very helpful for inspiring thinking and mastering the writing norms of the paper.

There are many ways to write papers, and there is no fixed format. The following are just some suggestions on the writing methods of the main part of the paper.

I. Introduction

Preface is also often used as a title, which mainly introduces the topic of the paper.

Firstly, the background and significance of the topic selection are expounded. The topic should emphasize the actual background, explain the causes, environment and conditions of the problem, and what role it can play in computer research or departmental information construction and management modernization after solving the problem. Combined with the background of the problem, readers feel that this topic has practical and academic value and is necessary for research or development.

Foreword often plays the role of finishing touch. The topic selection is actually innovative, which means that the research or development direction is correct and the design works are valuable. For a paper, if the preface is well written, it will attract readers, make them interested in your topic and want to know more about your work.

Second, the summary part

The research or development of any discipline is based on discipline or technology. The summary part mainly expounds the development course and research direction of the selected topic in the corresponding disciplines, especially the development trend and latest achievements in recent years. By comparing and commenting on the research results at home and abroad, it is shown that the topic is in line with the current research direction and has made progress, or the latest technology has been adopted and improved, so that readers can further understand the significance of the topic.

The summary part can reflect students' various abilities. First of all, it reflects students' reading ability of Chinese and foreign literature. By consulting literature, understanding the research level of peers and effectively using literature in work and papers, we can not only avoid simple repeated research, but also make R&D work have a higher starting point.

Secondly, it can also reflect students' comprehensive analysis ability. To find something that can be used for reference from a large number of documents requires not only a certain level of professional knowledge, but also a certain comprehensive ability. Whether the research results of peers can grasp the main points and whether the comments on pros and cons are realistic and just right is closely related to one's analytical and understanding ability.

It is worth noting that to do a good job in a graduation thesis, you must read a certain amount (2~3 articles) of recent foreign language materials, which not only reflects your foreign language reading ability, but also contributes to the advanced nature of the thesis.

Third, the program demonstration

After clarifying the problems to be solved and completing the literature review, it is natural to put forward your own ideas and schemes to solve the problems. In writing methods, one is to show the value of one's own scheme through comparison, and the other is to let readers know the innovation of the scheme or the innovative ideas, algorithms and key technologies.

When comparing with the schemes in the literature, we should first explain our own design scheme, explain why we chose or designed such a scheme, how the advantages mentioned above are embodied in this scheme, how the disadvantages are overcome, what kind of performance and level the final work can achieve, and what innovations (or innovations) there are. If your topic is part of the overall plan, you should clearly explain your part and contribution to the whole task.

Fourthly, the main body of the paper.

The first three parts account for about one third of the paper, and the main part accounts for about two thirds. In this part, the content of the whole research and development work should be discussed in detail, including theoretical analysis, overall design, module division and implementation methods.

The writing methods of the main part can be diversified according to different topics, and the writing methods of research papers and technical development papers are obviously different.
