The School of Sports Science of Shenyang Normal University is a secondary college under the school, and Cui Dalin, former deputy director of the State General Administration of Sports, is also honorary president. The college has 88 faculty members, including 66 teachers and 22 administrative, teaching assistants and logistics managers. There are 8 professors, 29 associate professors, 5 doctors, 45 masters, 7 athletes, 4 national judges and 40 visiting professors. Nearly 20 teachers work part-time in various academic groups and associations in China.
In 2005, it was awarded the advanced collective of Shenyang Normal University, the national advanced mass sports unit in the 10th and 11th National Games in 2005 and 2009, the advanced mass sports unit of Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau in 2006 and 20 10, and the advanced mass sports unit of Shenyang Sports Bureau in 2007, 2009 and 20 10.
At present, the college has a first-level master's degree authorization point in physical education, covering four second-level degree authorization points: sports humanities and sociology, physical education and training, sports human science and national traditional sports, and curriculum teaching theory (physical education) 1 degree authorization point. At the same time, he has two professional degree points in pedagogy and physical education, and the qualifications for applying for a master's degree are the same. At present, there are four undergraduate majors: physical education, social sports, sports training and national traditional sports. The College has established friendly relations with universities in Korea, Japan, Russia and other countries, regularly exchanged students with Sendai University in Japan, Hokuriku University in Russia and Moscow Normal University, and established exchange visits with three universities in Taiwan Province Province.
In 2003, the State General Administration of Sport established the key research base of sports social sciences, won the key discipline of philosophy and social sciences in Liaoning Province in 2007, established the research base of sports culture of the Sports Culture Development Center of the State General Administration of Sport in 2008, established the research base of sports biology in Liaoning Province in 2008, established the training base of college students' sports talents in Shenyang in 2008, and established the sports professional certification base in Liaoning Province on October-0. In 2005, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, our school established a high-level table tennis team and a high-level martial arts team. Since its establishment, high-level sports teams have always adhered to the purpose of serving the development and construction of schools and improving the competitive level of college students in Liaoning Province, managed scientifically and trained strictly, and achieved excellent results in various professional competitions. Among them, martial arts high-level sports teams won 13 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 10 bronze medals in the National University Games, the National University Wushu Championships and the National University Sanda Championships. The high-level table tennis team won five gold medals, six silver medals and nine bronze medals in the National University Games and the National University Table Tennis Championships. Our high-level table tennis team began to participate in the national professional league in 2005. At present, the men's table tennis team is participating in the National Table Tennis Club League A and the women's table tennis team is participating in the National Table Tennis Club League B. The college consists of sports department, social sports and guidance department, sports training department, martial arts and traditional sports department, public sports department, sports social science research center, venue service center, college office, student work office, digital sports teaching research center and college students' innovation and entrepreneurship guidance center. The college has a 1 gymnasium, a comprehensive training hall, a large-scale standard track and field and a swimming pool that can accommodate 4,000 spectators.
