Biography of Wang Xizhi
Wang Xizhi was a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. His most outstanding contribution to calligraphy is modern calligraphy. His calligraphy completely broke away from the subordinate form and became mature and perfect. Known as the "Book Sage" in the history of calligraphy in China. His works include Le Yi Lun, Preface to Lanting, Cursive Style, Mourning, and It will clear up when it snows quickly.

Yan Zhenqing was a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. His early calligraphy was influenced by Wang Xizhi. Later, he learned from Zhang Xu in the early Tang Dynasty, changed the height and vigor of calligraphy in the early Tang Dynasty, and created a regular script with both fat and thin. His works include regular script: Diligence Monument, Multi-Tower Induction Monument, Dong Fangshuo Portrait Praise, Magu Xiantan Ji, cursive script: Confession of My Own Book, Liu Zhongtie, Sacrifice to My Nephew, etc.
