Marxism is the crystallization of human spiritual wealth, and it is a scientific conclusion that Marx and Engels have studied extremely informative materials from the standpoint of the proletariat, after very strict argumentation and the test of workers' movement practice. As a contemporary college student, although you don't need to read all the original works about Marxist theory, you should read the important classic works carefully, otherwise you will know why. Through the study of Marxism-Leninism classic course this semester, I feel that I have greatly improved my knowledge reserve, understanding of Marxist theory and specific learning methods. In this article, I mainly want to talk about my experience of studying Marxism-Leninism.
The Necessity of Studying Marxism-Leninism Original Works
First of all, by studying the original works of Marxism-Leninism, we can master enough theoretical knowledge of Marxism-Leninism. As a student majoring in Marxism-Leninism, I know the importance of Marxism-Leninism theory. It will have a great influence on the present study and future work and life. Only by reading the original works carefully can we deeply understand Marxist theory and fully absorb the "nutrients" in this ideological and theoretical treasure house.
Secondly, through the study of the original, we can distinguish between true and false Marxism and be a real Marxist. In modern society, many people pretend to be Marxists under the banner of Marxist theory and cheat everywhere. Marx once said, "I only know that I am not a Marxist myself." "I planted dragon seeds, but I harvested fleas." Therefore, only by truly reading the original works of Marxism-Leninism can we distinguish between true Marxism and false Marxism, and finally become a veritable Marxist believer.
Third, only by mastering the essence of Marxism–Leninism can we use Marxist theory to guide practice. Looking back at history, in the modern history of China, we could not have achieved national independence, people's liberation, and established a new socialist China without the guidance of Marxist theory and the practice of China by the Production Party of China. At the same time, we should also see that in the process of China's revolution, dogmatism copied Marxism-Leninism, because it failed to understand the essence of Marxist theory and contacted the reality of China, which eventually led to a major setback in the revolution. For example, Wang Ming's left adventurism almost ruined the China Revolution. It can be seen that only by truly understanding the principles of Marxism, mastering the essence of Marxist theory, and applying it to practice and combining it with reality can we finally succeed.
Finally, only by studying the original works of Marxism-Leninism can we have the strength to fight against erroneous thoughts. In modern society, many people are proud of criticizing the original works of Marxism-Leninism, trying their best to find loopholes in Marxist theory, questioning the original works and thinking that Marxist theory is out of date. For example, the understanding of "two necessities". Faced with the drastic changes in Eastern Europe, the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the vigorous development of capitalism and the low tide of the socialist movement, many people deny the assertion of "two necessities" in Marxist theory. They think that Marxism is out of date, and now it is not the inevitable demise of capitalism, but the threat of the demise of socialism. In this case, only through in-depth study and research on the original works of Marxism-Leninism and starting from the historical background conditions at that time, can we find that it is realistic to put forward this conclusion under the social and historical conditions at that time, especially when the economic crisis broke out constantly in capitalist society and social contradictions could not be reconciled. Therefore, only with sufficient knowledge of Marxist theory can we fight against "enemies of Marxism".
Analysis of the Present Situation of Marxism-Leninism Original Works
In modern society, with the development of market economy, people are increasingly diluting and ignoring Marxist theories, thinking that these are outdated things and dead dogmas. People who study Marxism-Leninism are pedantic and conservative bookworms. Although we have never stopped studying Marxist theory from primary school to university and even graduate students, how many people have really learned Marxism–Leninism and mastered the stand, viewpoint and method of Marxist theory? In addition to formal learning, the gains are actually very small. I think there are several reasons why colleges and universities ignore and downplay the study of Marxist theory:
First of all, the original work of Marxism-Leninism is out of date. Contemporary college students generally believe that the original Marxism-Leninism we talked about was written more than 100 years ago, which is far from the present, no matter from the historical background or the main problems to be solved. In the past hundred years, the society has undergone earth-shaking changes, resulting in great differences, which makes the study of the original works of Marxism-Leninism lose its reality. It is better to spend limited energy on learning some new disciplines. For example: computer, English ...
Secondly, the original works of Marxism-Leninism are obscure and difficult to understand, so you can do without learning. Many contemporary college students think that Marxism originated in Europe, and the original works, no matter the background materials, argumentation methods or even the vocabulary, grammar and allusions used, are unfamiliar to us, especially the original works of philosophy, even if we study hard. It is enough for us to learn the principle class, and there is no need to learn the original. In addition, the original works of Marxism-Leninism give people an obscure "big head" image, which increases students' fear and boredom.
Third, the original content of Marxism-Leninism is empty and has no practical significance. Contemporary college students generally think that it is meaningless to talk about the original work now, and there is a feeling of "aimlessness". Most of the original works of Marxism-Leninism we are talking about are controversial works, and now the opponents themselves no longer exist. Their theories, such as those of Turin and Mach, have no influence on us. We just learn something by studying the original works. It is futile for us to study these works to criticize the enemy now, and we can't solve the real problem.
On the Original Methods of Three Studies on Marxism-Leninism
During my four years of study in college, I have not been able to find a practical way to learn the original works of Marxism-Leninism. But through the study of the original Marxism-Leninism course this semester, I feel that I have gained a lot. The teacher taught us many ways to learn Marxism-Leninism, which made up for my shortcomings in college. Among them, I deeply feel that I have accumulated a lot of experience in methods. Specifically, there are mainly the following experiences:
First of all, to learn the original works of Marxism-Leninism, we must understand the content completely and accurately, and at the same time, we should closely integrate theory with practice and observe, analyze and think about problems from the standpoint of Marxism. Focus on studying the stand, viewpoint and method of Marxist theory, not from theory to theory. What we should mainly learn is the way of thinking of revolutionary instructors in analyzing problems, rather than taking them out of context and memorizing several conclusive theoretical summaries. At the same time, in the process of learning, we should not only understand the positive views, but also understand the negative views, and finally make judgments from an objective standpoint, that is, learn by means of comparison and connection.
Secondly, on the basis of extensive reading, combine intensive reading with intensive reading. There are many original works on Marxism-Leninism, so we can't cover everything. We can only choose classic Marxism-Leninism articles to study and study. In this process, teachers play an important role. Because as far as our current professional knowledge is concerned, it is impossible to distinguish which articles are suitable for our intensive reading and which chapters are suitable for our extensive reading. Teachers with rich teaching experience can give us guidance in this respect and guide students to learn from our reality. For example, under the guidance of the teacher, we studied the manuscript of Marx's economic philosophy 1844, Marx's outline on Feuerbach, German ideology and so on. Through the study of these articles, I have a clearer understanding of the contents of Marxist theoretical philosophy and economics, rather than just knowing a few conclusions in general. In addition, for more classic articles, we need to study them repeatedly to understand their essence. For example, Marx: Introduction and Marx: Preface. These articles contain the classic expressions of Marxist theory, and are closely related to today's reality, which has an important guiding role for us to understand and transform the world.
Thirdly, in terms of specific methods, when faced with an original article on Marxism-Leninism, I am used to reading only the text of the article, and I always feel puzzled after reading it. Through the guidance of the teacher this semester, I think we need to start from the following aspects. First, understand the writing background of this article through second-hand materials, so as to understand its content under special historical conditions. Second, in the process of reading, we should first read the abstract, table of contents, preface and postscript, and then read the whole book. In this process, you must also read indexes, notes, notes, etc. In addition, you should make good reading notes. Make a good record of what you don't understand, and then ask teachers and classmates for advice and communicate with each other. These steps are indispensable, otherwise it is difficult to fully understand the content of the article. Third, for the chapters to be intensively read, we must fully understand them and read them objectively without any prejudice.
Finally, after learning an article, you must deepen your understanding of the article through communication and discussion. Link the content and method of the article with reality. Especially for the hot issues in today's society, we need to observe, analyze and think with the standpoint, viewpoint and method of Marxist theory and put forward solutions. Only by integrating theory with practice and guiding practice can such learning be meaningful. This is also very difficult for us to do now.
It is impossible to learn the original Marxism-Leninism overnight. I don't think any experts and scholars in Marxism-Leninism dare to say that they have fully understood and understood the original works of Marxism-Leninism. Therefore, this requires us to persevere for a long time and take reading the original Marxism-Leninism as our "lifelong career". Only in this way can we gain something and truly understand the essence of Marxist theory. Finally, I want to end the article with a sentence that the teacher said to us in class-read more, read more and write more!
