The Post-reading Feeling of Heroes in Sui and Tang Dynasties: 800 Historical Perspectives
After reading this series, it is not bad on the whole. It's not bad because at least the script is not too far from the original, and it's a hundred times stronger than those scripts that make up names. But there are still some unsatisfactory places. First of all, the ugly story is Luo Cheng. Luo Cheng in this play is too weak and has no personality. Afraid of my father fighting Yang Lin. Just kidding! Luo Cheng and Yang Lin, the seventh chivalrous men in Sui and Tang Dynasties, were both killed by him. How can they be afraid to fight with him? And Luo Cheng, in the words of Dan Tianfang, "This is called a spirit, young man." He is proud and very independent. He is a part of his father, Se, and listens to his mother. Like him, he broke the word Yang Lin and went behind his father's back with his mother's consent. Besides, when he met his cousin in Qin Qiong, he was only 1 1 years old. How could he have never seen a woman at the age of 23? Besides, he and Dan Xiong Xin have always been bad friends. They don't like each other. They fought several wars, but Dan Xiong Xin was only the 18th hero in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Where is McCullough's opponent? Probably because of the drama of Dan Bingbing, McCullough was vilified. The actor's choice is good, and Nie Yuan really conforms to McCullough's image. Unfortunately, the script didn't give him too many scenes, much more than his seven nights in Ghost Story.

However, the play does beautify Dan Xiong Xin. In fact, Dan Xiong Xin's green forest is very strong. Although he loves to make friends, he is a little narrow-minded, which can be seen from his resentment against McCullough and his protection of Hecheng after he was recruited by Wang Zhao. Dan Xiong Xin in the play is perfect.

Qin Qiong's martial arts are exaggerated. Qin Qiong was impressed by his personality charm. He loves to make friends and is called Mr. Meng. He is ambitious and open-minded. Although his martial arts skills are high, he can't beat McCullough until he reaches the point of omnipotent. Maybe because he is the first hero. Huang Haibing painted Qin Qiong very well. Wang Bodang was also vilified as a loyal minister who followed Shi Biao. The most regrettable thing is that many heroes never mentioned it. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the fourth hero was Hao Hao, the fifth hero was Wu, and the tenth hero was Shang Shitu, from whom his steeds were taken. Even the county horse Chai Shao is ignored. Pei Yuanqing was killed in a minefield, not by Li Yuanba. Of course, I can understand that money is a problem, so actors can't invite too many people. The scene is simple. It's ridiculous that only two doors can be used. However, if you decide to shoot this large-scale historical drama, you'd better get enough money to shoot it, or you might as well not shoot it.

As for the two love stories of Li Rongrong and Dan Bingbing, although they are harmless, they also add some romantic elements to pure romance, but they are actually unnecessary. Isn't it fascinating that there is no particularly romantic story like Water Margin?

If you don't look at it from the perspective of being completely faithful to the original, this series is still good. It is worth seeing.
