I think that after the domestic and international situation and the focus of domestic and international affairs have changed, no matter what the other side does, we can get some enlightenment from Chairman Mao's two orientations of staying in northern Shaanxi and leaving northern Shaanxi in the liberation war by making some adjustments to Japan's "I-oriented" policy. 1in March, 947, Hu Zongnan captured Yan' an, and Mao led a small army to deal with it in the mountainous area of northern Shaanxi, and announced that he would not leave here until Yan' an was recovered. However, in March of 48, although Yan 'an was not recovered, Mao led the central government to cross the Yellow River eastward. The former is the correct decision to contain the mobile forces of the Kuomintang army in the Loess Plateau. The latter is because the national war situation has undergone a fundamental turning point, and Mao focused on the greater goal of liberating all of China, which is proved by history and is also the right decision.
