Before Cao Pi proclaimed himself emperor, he presided over the literary world with "the vice-monarch's weight" and said to Wu Zhishu, "When you used to walk, connect with people, and when you stopped, sit down. Why do you lose sight of each other? " Every time it is popular, the silk and bamboo are played side by side, and the wine warms the poem. At this time, I suddenly didn't know that I was happy. "It can be seen that Xelloss and the teachers of the law had a close relationship and were very speculative. From Cao Pi's Essays on Canon, we can see that he attaches importance to literature. His literary theory occupies a very important position in the history of China literature, and has a far-reaching influence on the literary theory criticism of later generations and even the development direction of the whole literature. His views are expressed in Essays on Canon.
Dian Lun Thesis puts forward the theory that articles are immortal. There is a classic saying in Dian Lun Wen that is widely circulated: it is a national event and an immortal cause to build an article. Therefore, the ancient authors entrusted themselves to calligraphy, and their opinions were based on articles. He didn't fake the words of history, nor did he rely on the trend of flying, but his fame was later autobiographical. "This sentence clearly reflects the Confucian point of view, rather than the Taoist concept of birth. The word "tiao" here has been controversial since ancient times. On the one hand, it refers to political and academic works, not literary works; On the other hand, on the contrary. However, most of the articles cited in Dian Lun Wen related to the seven sons of Jian 'an are aesthetic. This cognitive error is because the meaning of the word "article" in ancient times was much broader than it is now, including political theory and literary works, and the ancients also had a tendency to pursue literary talent even if it was practical. On this point, Zhang Taiyan once discussed in On Guo Ping: the article is the text. From the Analects of Confucius, it shows that ancient prose has a strong aesthetic consciousness.
The theory that the article is immortal also has its origin. "Zuo Zhuan" said: If you are virtuous, you will make meritorious deeds and make a statement again. This also proves that the main idea of Canon Papers is Confucian viewpoint. Although China is a country governed by culture, it is inconceivable that literature is so highly regarded as the supreme position. In connection with the historical and social environment at that time, Lu Xun put forward a very interesting point in the article "The Relationship between Wei and Jin Manners and Wine and Medicine". The reason why Cao Pi exaggerates the role of literature is to convince his younger brother Cao Zhi. Before writing "Dian Lun Thesis", Cao Zhi wrote a letter to his friend Yang Xiu, Yang Yudezu's book, in which he called poetry a road. This aroused the suspicion of Cao Pi. In order to consolidate his position as a prince, he strongly advocated literature in order to let Cao Zhi concentrate on his creation and not pose a threat to himself. Even so, Cao Pi's viewpoint objectively stimulated the development of literature and laid the foundation for the first golden age in the history of China's poetry. Poetry gradually matured and prospered in Wei and Jin Dynasties, and the active promotion and participation of rulers also played an important role. With them as the core, they United a large number of outstanding writers and formed the Ye Group headed by Cao Pi. There is also an interesting sentence in this paragraph, that is, "I don't want to fly." Literally, you don't have to be successful in official career, and you don't have to say hello to powerful people. But in sharp contrast, later generations have endless dry poems. In particular, Han Yu, one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, took it as his duty to revive the Confucian spirit. After writing some works with high Confucian temperament, such as The Original Road, Mourning and Original Nature, Meng Jiao, a good friend, advised him to compile the articles and make them public. At this time, Han Yu said that his official position was humble and he could not write a book until he had a successful career. It was ridiculous. This not only runs counter to the Confucian spirit he flaunted, but also gave him a loud slap in the face, which also became his penance after being demoted to Chaozhou and became a stain on his life.
