Hello, first, the research field of the opening report: In the process of research study, we went deep into canteens, restaurants and other places to conduct on-the-spot research and master first-hand information, which provided a solid foundation for our future innovation. Research period: 2007- 12-9 to 2007- 14-9. Reasons for raising the topic: disposable chopsticks have become a hot topic in society. Some people think that the convenience and cheapness of disposable chopsticks will bring convenience to people's lives; Some people think that using disposable chopsticks will cause serious damage to the environment. How to treat disposable chopsticks is a problem we need to study. How to recycle used disposable chopsticks without polluting the environment and wasting resources? What methods are there to deal with disposable chopsticks in the world at present? What is people's attitude towards disposable chopsticks? The purpose of this study is: ① to understand the history and development of chopsticks. ② Understand the disadvantages of using disposable chopsticks. ③ Understand the present situation of using disposable chopsticks. ④ Understand the recycling status of disposable chopsticks. ⑤ Discuss how to handle disposable chopsticks better. ⑥ Cultivate the ability of information collection, processing and integration. Project research plan: the first stage: this stage is mainly to determine the research ideas and methods of the whole project, clarify the research purpose and determine the division of labor. The second stage: this stage is active. The third stage: this stage is the summary and creation stage. The fourth stage: this stage is the conclusion stage. Members: Wu Zengli, Lin, Mao Zechun, Tang Shicun, Chen Liangchuan. With the economic development of China, there are more and more employment opportunities. Therefore, in the face of busy work, most people have no time to cook, so they choose fast food restaurants to make do. In this respect, some restaurants have replaced ordinary chopsticks because disposable chopsticks are cheap, convenient and hygienic.

We also investigated the things around us. The result shows that we use about 150 to 200 pairs of disposable chopsticks a day in the cafeteria of No.4 Middle School, about 300 pairs in fast food restaurants outside the school, and 500 pairs in some small food stalls. According to records and calculations, more than 5,000 pairs are used every day in more than 20 restaurants near our school. We may think that these are nothing, but after careful investigation, although disposable chopsticks are only a few cents good, almost a few cents, they are still discarded as garbage after use. At present, there are nearly 1,000 enterprises producing wooden chopsticks, which consume about 5 million cubic meters of forest resources every year, accounting for about 18% of the total annual consumption. Moreover, the wood requirements for producing chopsticks are quite strict, requiring natural white pine and birch with a growth period of 70-80 years. China now produces about 45 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks every year, and it needs to cut down 25 million trees. The forest coverage rate in China is only 13.4%. In the long run, the forests in China will be damaged. Survey 1: Survey location: Longshepo and Donghu No.1 Road.

Survey name: Time-honored noodle restaurant, Kangmei fast food restaurant, Donghu fast food restaurant and Adun Sichuan restaurant.

Objective: To understand the usage of disposable chopsticks.

Investigation process: Every day after school at noon and afternoon, I found that every store is using disposable chopsticks, and the amount is very large. The trash can at the door is full of used disposable chopsticks.

The survey results show that each fast food restaurant uses about 300-500 pairs of disposable chopsticks every day on average, and the chopsticks are not recycled after use, so they are thrown away directly.

Summary: Disposable chopsticks are made of trees. Although it is hygienic to use so many disposable chopsticks, how many trees do you have to cut down to make chopsticks? And chopsticks are not recycled to make pulp after use. It causes great waste, so it is suggested to use less disposable chopsticks.

Survey 2: The number of disposable chopsticks used in the names of local shops.

Nansha Road Northeast jiaozi 180-200 pairs/day

250-300 pairs of fast-food restaurants in Nansha Road.

Nansha Road Fulai fast food restaurant has 300-400 pairs every day.

Nansha Road Economic Fast Food Restaurant 280-350 pairs/day

Nansha Road casserole rice noodles 160-200 pairs/day

Summary: Five stores consume an average of more than 200 pairs of disposable chopsticks every day. Most of these disposable chopsticks are made of trees and can be used after factory processing. Moreover, disposable chopsticks are cheap, easy to use and hygienic, avoiding cross-infection diseases. Therefore, the waiters in these stores say that most of them buy disposable chopsticks, and so do the surrounding stores. I learned from the waiter that most consumers throw them around after use, instead of putting them in designated boxes, so disposable chopsticks not only waste resources, but also do some harm to the environment. Survey 3: Survey location: Innovation Village, Wuxi Road, Haidian.

Survey names: Wuji food stall, Laohekou hot pot, Luji seafood city and Longxiang food stall.

Objective: To use disposable chopsticks.

Transit: There are more tourists in the morning and evening, and the consumption of chopsticks is relatively high. Some people don't use disposable chopsticks, which leads to the waste of chopsticks. I found disposable chopsticks on the ground in the garbage truck next to me.

Summary: This store consumes about 200-300 pairs of disposable chopsticks every day on average, and chopsticks are not recycled after use. Resulting in an irrecoverable waste of resources. Disposable chopsticks are processed from trees. In order to avoid cross infection, consumers who use more often use disposable chopsticks. The supply of chopsticks has reduced the forest area and brought considerable income to loggers. In pursuit of more income, they cut trees like crazy. In this way, the forest will be destroyed, which will lead to soil erosion and floods. Natural warnings warn us to use less disposable chopsticks and protect the forest.

Survey 4: Number of store names

Wuji food stall 400-800 pairs/day

Laohekou Hotpot 800- 1000 pairs/day

Lv Ji seafood city 800- 1000 pairs/day

Longxiang food stall 100-500 pairs/day

According to the survey:

Economical fast food restaurants use 450 pairs of chopsticks a day.

Diners' food stalls have 350 pairs a day.

Ok, come to the food store again, 370 pairs a day.

Sauvignon Blanc Chongqing food stall 500 pairs a day.

Qinglong food stall 650 pairs a day

Summary: According to this survey, the disposable chopsticks used in restaurants around Wenmingdong have obviously exceeded 2,500 pairs per day, even reaching 3,000 pairs per day. Obviously, there are about 1 1000000 pairs of disposable chopsticks used here every year, and this data will be much more than this data. This shows that more than 1000 trees are needed here every year, so tens of thousands of trees are cut down in Haikou every year. Moreover, the number of trees planted in Haikou every year is much higher than in previous years. Sometimes many seedlings will die because of the influence of the environment, and the pollution will be very serious. This can be seen not only from its usage, but also from its handling: most disposable chopsticks will not be recycled. But gather together and burn it, seriously polluting the atmosphere. So if we don't use disposable chopsticks, it will indirectly protect our common home and make the air in Haikou more and more fresh. There is a more beautiful environment. Let's stop using disposable chopsticks, be a caring and responsible citizen, and make Haikou's tomorrow better! Summary report: For the general public, when eating out, it is convenient and hygienic to watch others use disposable chopsticks and choose to use them themselves, so they can use them with confidence. It can be seen that quite a few people have not realized the "danger" of disposable wooden chopsticks. People use disposable wooden chopsticks for convenience and hygiene, but in the actual production and use process, many disposable chopsticks have serious health risks. The production and processing of disposable wooden chopsticks have to go through more than a dozen processes, such as cutting trees, cutting off and punching blanks. In order to make chopsticks look white and clean, the formed chopsticks should be smoked with sulfur, and those that are not smoked should be soaked and bleached with hydrogen peroxide and sodium sulfate, and then polished with talcum powder. In fact, for commonly used disposable chopsticks, consumers can't judge the hygiene only by naked eyes, but only through laboratory testing. Experts point out that after bleaching, a lot of water is needed for cooking or washing. But in the actual manufacturing process, no one uses that much water. It is reported that 93% disposable chopsticks in Taipei market are fumigated and bleached with sulfur dioxide. The longer the fumigation time, there are generally three ways to bleach disposable chopsticks, using sulfur dioxide, hydrogen peroxide or calcium (sodium) hypochlorite for bleaching. The whiter these three seeds are, the more sour they smell. Manufacturers usually ignore the boiling step after sulfur dioxide fumigation and bleaching. Residual sulfur dioxide combined with other substances will become sulfite, which is considered to cause asthma in the medical field. Because of the simple manufacturing process, most wooden disposable chopsticks often fail to meet the hygiene standards, which is not conducive to health. Disposable chopsticks are in direct contact with people in use, and if the hygiene index fails to meet the requirements, it is likely to lead to the occurrence and spread of diseases. Long-term use may also lead to some chronic diseases that cannot be detected in the short term. Now, more and more people have realized that disposable chopsticks are unhealthy and harmful to human body. But people still can't refuse to use disposable chopsticks in their daily life. In fact, restricting the use of disposable chopsticks is actually changing people's lifestyle, which is a habit. People concerned appealed that people should try to use strictly sterilized chopsticks when eating out, and reject disposable chopsticks that are harmful to the environment and unsanitary with practical actions. World forest coverage: 67% in Japan, 64% in South Korea, about 60% in Norway, 54% in Sweden, 50-60% in Brazil, 44% in Canada, 30% in Germany, 33% in the United States, 27% in France, 23% in India and 0/6.5% in China/KLOC!

1. Climate anomaly: Without forests, surface water evaporation will increase significantly, thus causing changes in surface heat balance and tropospheric heat distribution. With the increase of near-surface temperature, the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall will change accordingly, which will lead to climate anomalies and climate deterioration in some areas, such as the decrease of rainfall and the increase of sandstorms.

2. Increase carbon dioxide emissions: Forests play an important role in regulating the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere. Scientists believe that global forests absorb about 65.438+0.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide every year, which is equivalent to 654.38+0/4 of the carbon dioxide released by burning fossil fuels. Deforestation reduces the ability of forests to absorb carbon dioxide and releases carbon originally stored in organisms and surrounding soil. According to FAO estimates, deforestation releases more than 654.38+500 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year.

3. Species extinction and biodiversity reduction: Forest ecosystem is one of the regions with the richest species. Due to the destruction of forests around the world, thousands of animal and plant species are threatened with extinction. The flora and fauna of the tropical rain forest may include half of the known species, but it is disappearing at the rate of 4.6 million hectares every year.

4. Aggravate soil erosion: Large-scale deforestation usually causes serious soil erosion and aggravates natural disasters such as land desertification, landslides and mudslides. 5. Reduce water conservation and aggravate the flood disaster: forest destruction also fundamentally reduces the water-holding capacity of soil, and the siltation of rivers and lakes caused by soil erosion leads to large-scale floods, which intensifies the impact and harm of floods. If everyone only uses one pair of disposable chopsticks every day, it will take 365 pairs a year, and the 654.38+03 billion people in China will use 474.5 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks. {1* 365 *130000000 = 45750000000 pairs}. Let's calculate this ratio carefully and suggest that people bid farewell to the investigation of disposable chopsticks.

Topic background or question: Because everyone eats in a fast food restaurant, I accidentally find that the use of disposable chopsticks is amazing. Considering the change of forest area in China, we decided to study disposable chopsticks.

Significance and value of the research: Through the investigation of the use of disposable chopsticks, we can understand the utilization rate of disposable chopsticks in China, as well as its harm and waste of resources. Through this study, we advocate caring for the forest, hope everyone has the virtue of environmental protection, and refuse disposable chopsticks!

Main research methods: social investigation, collective research, online information search, mutual discussion and understanding of the hazards of disposable chopsticks.

Research stage and steps (activity plan): (1) Determine the research topic through mutual communication and discussion among team members. (2) Plan the scheme, establish the research route and focus, investigate the division of labor among the members of each group, and collect data. (3) Classify the collected data, discuss with the tutor, write a paper, and finally design the layout.

Participants in this activity are: Wu Zengli, Tang Shicun, Chen Liangchuan, Mao Zechun, Liu Wenqiang, Lin Xingqian and Zhao Bo.

The purpose of this activity is to learn about disposable chopsticks through the study of the subject. At the same time, through the way of data, it reflects the use of disposable chopsticks, which leads to the decrease of forest coverage, and calls on everyone to use disposable chopsticks less.

The content of this activity is to investigate the surrounding hotels and learn about the utilization rate of disposable chopsticks in Hainan through online and books.

The requirement of this activity is 1. Need a digital camera. 2. computer. 3. bicycles.

The steps of this activity are designed to preside over the meeting on May 1 2005, communicate with the team members and determine the work of each member. On May 20, 2005, a survey was conducted according to the work assigned to each member. On July 1 day, 2005, the investigation data were sorted out and the team members were organized to conduct self-evaluation and group evaluation. And exchange experiences and feelings, summarize and write papers.

In order to investigate the reliability and authenticity of information, the respondents are generally near the players' homes for easy contact.

The result of this activity: Although the government propaganda refused to use disposable chopsticks, consumers were afraid of getting sick and asked to use disposable chopsticks.

Problems encountered in this activity and their solutions: no digital camera. Solution: Download pictures from the Internet.

The main harvest and experience of this activity: Through this study, we realize that disposable chopsticks do more harm than good, which will cause soil erosion and aggravate land degradation caused by large-scale deforestation, making it more important for us to protect existing forests.

Unsolved problems and needed support and help in this activity: What this activity needs is the support and cooperation of respondents and the advice and help of instructors.

Experience: Through this investigation, we have a deeper understanding of the processing and production of chopsticks. The following is my understanding of disposable chopsticks. It is understood that many consumers are generally uneasy about the sanitary condition of disposable chopsticks. Many people even resent the use of disposable chopsticks, but there is no better substitute and they can't bring their own tableware, so they have to make do with disposable chopsticks that look clean. Therefore, many people can't help but choose disposable chopsticks when eating: don't stick to the edge of the chopsticks tube, don't put it on it, don't have black marks and mildew ... Some consumers said, don't talk about flies and dust, just look at everyone reaching out and picking them, and you can imagine their "hygiene" degree. Using disposable chopsticks has serious health hazards. The raw materials used in regular disposable chopsticks are all wood with good texture and do not need special processing. However, in order to reduce the cost, many small workshops use inferior wood and inferior disposable chopsticks, which leads to cough, wheezing and other diseases. Some lawless elements will use hydrogen peroxide to bleach, which will also cause harm to users. This will lead to the infection of many diseases and people's health will not be well protected.

The destruction of forests makes the waste gas discharged by cities not purified, and the serious pollution of the atmosphere threatens people's health. This is a serious warning from nature. Use disposable chopsticks without worrying about what you will get. Floods, mudslides, strong winds ... the earth has been hurt. Please don't let it hurt again. When we pick up disposable chopsticks, it is equivalent to eating the forest. The people who ultimately destroy forests are not producers, but consumers. To protect the forest, we should stop using disposable chopsticks. & lt/p & gt; & lt/p & gt;
