Writing a paper in Word, although it is ok to modify the format after writing, it is best to set the format first, which will save a lot of things.

I. Page setup

Page setup is divided into three parts: paper setup, margin setup and header and footer setup.

1, paper settings

Open page setup in the layout navigation bar;

In the page setup, the paper is set to A4 (210mm * 297mm);

Second, the text settings

Text setting includes title setting, text setting, picture title and table title setting;

1, title setting

Titles are divided into three levels:

Third-level title: bold, small four, 0.5 line after the first paragraph.

Note: The spacing between the front and rear of this subsection can be adjusted according to the actual situation.

Select the title in the style of the start navigation bar and right-click to modify it;

Modify the format of the title 1, and then click the format in the lower left corner to select a paragraph;

Set the title 1 as the center in the paragraph, with 0.5 lines after the first paragraph;

Also set title 2 and title 3, and the alignment of title 2 and title 3 is left alignment;

If there is a subtitle, the subtitle is Song Ti, small four, the first line is indented by 2 characters, and the line spacing is 1.25 times.

2. Text Settings

The text setting is the same as the title setting. The text is in Song style, small four, the first line is indented by two words, the two ends are aligned, and the line spacing is 1.25 times.

3. Setting of drawing and table problems

The title of the picture and the title of the table are Song Ti, No.5, centered, 1 line before and after the paragraph;

Third, the page number setting

Double-click the header or footer position to display the header and footer setting dialog box, select the page number format, open the page number format, and change the starting page number to 0;

And in the header and footer settings page, check the home page is different, so that the page number will not appear on the cover.

In actual operation, there may be different data settings due to different paper format requirements, but the setting method is the same.
