Self-taught Sichuan University law undergraduate needs to take the following subjects:
1, required: graduation thesis, introduction to Mao Zedong Thought, principles of Marxist political economy, labor law, intellectual property law, company law, environmental and resource protection law, contract law, introduction to international economic law, private international law, legal document writing, marriage and family law.
2. Elective examinations: English (II), real estate law, tax law, insurance law, notarization and lawyer system, foreign legal history, China legal thought history, financial law, civil law, civil procedure law and criminal procedure law.
There are 12 compulsory courses and 7 elective courses in this undergraduate course, of which 3 can be selected. Candidates who don't take English (II) take three other courses. Graduates of illegal courses or above must take civil law, criminal procedure law and civil procedure law to apply for this major.

Sichuan University Law School has a long history. She was founded in 1903, formerly known as "official library", also known as official library. 1905 Sichuan Governor Liang founded Sichuan School of Politics and Law on the basis of the original official school. Sichuan Law School 19 12 was developed into Sichuan Law School, and 19 14 was renamed as Sichuan Public Law School.
During the period of 1927, Sichuan Public College of Law and Politics was established together with Sichuan Public Foreign Language School, Sichuan Public Agricultural School, Sichuan Public Industrial School and Sichuan Public Chinese Studies School, and became a public Sichuan University and a law and politics college of public Sichuan University.
