With the development of computer network and communication technology, and the application and popularization of Internet in database technology, the Internet is widely used to provide thoughtful and humanized services for network users, and humanized Web applications have gradually become a trend. Although online bookstores are located in China, they are developing rapidly. With the increasing popularity of the Internet and the maturity of online bookstores, its potential market will be fully exerted.

Online bookstore system can realize people to buy books and visit bookstores remotely. The main function of this system is to help people expand the business of real bookstores and increase the market. The basic functions of registered members include user login, book browsing, book inquiry, online purchase, remote transaction, remote and so on. This system is developed based on the background of users and publishers. The application development tools are Asp and Access database, which can effectively trade, browse and operate 2000 books online.

In the paper, the related knowledge of e-commerce and online bookstore is introduced, and a website is made according to the above knowledge. The main contents include: analysis, feasibility study, platform, demand analysis, overall design, web page design, database design, making some main codes of the website in detail, and explaining them in the flow chart.
