Why is cat abuse addictive?
Abuse of cats is a cruel and immoral behavior, which violates the respect and protection of animals. Normal people will not indulge in it, and cat abuse will actually show that the perpetrator has psychological problems or mental illness. For animal cruelty, the corresponding psychological mechanism may be related to the following points:

1. vicious circle: cruelty to cats may stimulate the pleasure of cruelty to animals and make the actor feel psychologically satisfied like addiction. This kind of pleasure makes them tend to repeat this behavior and form a vicious circle.

2. Power and control desire: Some people show their power and control ability by abusing weak creatures to meet their psychological needs.

3. Psychological problems: People who abuse animals usually have some psychological problems, such as aggression, lack of empathy, hatred and bullying. Cat abuse may be the externalization of these problems.

4. Alternative satisfaction: Some people can't meet their own needs in real life and get alternative satisfaction through cat abuse.

Cat abuse is a serious violation of social ethics. We should take the following measures to solve this problem:

1. education and publicity: strengthen animal protection education and publicity, and improve public moral awareness and empathy.

2. Strengthen legal measures: formulate stricter laws and regulations, increase the punishment for animal cruelty, and make offenders pay the due price.

3. Psychotherapy: Provide psychological counseling and treatment for people who abuse animals, help them understand their psychological problems and find a healthy emotional and behavioral outlet.

4. Social supervision: establish a broad social supervision mechanism, increase the social pressure of cat abuse through public attention and exposure, and make it difficult to succeed.
