Background: Among the 340 million minors in China, a certain proportion have psychological problems, and most of them have not been solved in time. Among them, 28% students have mild psychological problems, 3.9% students have moderate psychological problems, and 0. 1% students have severe psychological problems. From June 5438 to October 2002 10, the first large-scale suicide survey in China showed that 250,000 people died of suicide every year, accounting for 3.6% of the national death toll, and the number of attempted suicides reached 2 million every year. According to the survey, the proportion of college students who may have psychological problems is as high as 25%, and the proportion of students who have psychological obstacles is about 2% ~ 5%. The mental health education and consultation in colleges and universities in our province has formed a good academic atmosphere and a positive working state, and the professional level of a group of front-line mental health education and consultation personnel has been continuously improved and gradually formed characteristics. At present, most front-line personnel in our province have mastered the basic skills and methods of psychological counseling, and a group of teachers have become more mature group counseling instructors. From the perspective of work, the Ministry of Education and the professional committees of the Provincial Party Committee's College Working Committee often visit the school to inspect and guide the work and conduct comprehensive inspections on a regular basis.
