The main research contents include laser holographic interferometry, optical flow display technology, photoelectric detection, control and automation, and dam safety monitoring instruments and systems. "Study on the Mechanism of Boiling and Droplet Evaporation of Flowing Film on Solid Surface" won the first prize of National Natural Science 1989, and "EF-4 Electronic and Field Experimental Instrument" won the third prize of Research Achievements of Teaching Instruments of State Education Commission 1990.

Study on microstructure and application of new functional materials

His research interests include Yin Shilong, Xu Yuan and other professors and associate professors, mainly studying the microstructure and physical and chemical properties of new functional materials, providing a basis for the preparation and application of related engineering materials. In recent years, many achievements have been made in the measurement, analysis and performance research of multilayer films and nanomaterials, which have been included in five international authoritative publications for many times, and have large instruments such as rotating target X-ray machine.
