IPMP is the general name of the four-level project management professional qualification certification system implemented by the Project Management Institute (IPMA) internationally. It has been popularized and recognized by more than 30 countries. PMP is a certification system implemented by project management institute (PMI). Due to the developed economy of the United States, some countries learn from it and introduce its technology, including the PMP certification system. There is only one level of PMP certification, and the qualification requirements for students participating in PMP certification are equivalent to Grade C of IPMP.

The certification of PMP in China is completely organized by PMI, and the certification procedure, training and examination of PMP are all in English, which is gradually becoming Chinese, using both English and Chinese.

China PMP certification body is only responsible for the organization of training and examination. About IPMP and PMP certificates:

IPMA and PMI signed a certificate mutual recognition agreement, and the IPMP C certificate is completely equivalent to the American PMP certificate.
