With the continuous development of economy, the improvement of people's living standard and consumption level in Suqian, Shuyang, higher requirements are put forward for the quality of drinking water. However, due to the backward economy and insufficient planning in Shuyang area, the water supply equipment can no longer meet the current requirements, so it is urgent to build a new Brooke Waterworks. And Shuyang are representatives of northern Jiangsu, which can be used as models for other cities and counties. This design is based on the commonly used water treatment technology, combined with the local natural, economic and social conditions in Shuyang, to select the most suitable purification plant equipment and methods in Shuyang area. The water purification processes adopted in this design include: water, mixing, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection, water distribution and users. After design treatment, the effluent quality of Shuyang Waterworks in Suqian City reached the Hygienic Standard for Drinking Water (GB5749-2006). Obtain a reasonable process for treating a small amount of sludge and water treatment.
