Mechanical electronics is the leading industry of national economy today. With the development of economy, the country's demand for technical talents is increasing. Based on various opinions and personal hobbies, I chose the major of mechanical electronics.
The premise of mechanical design is to have a deep understanding of machinery and master the means of mechanical operation skillfully. This summer vacation, I visited the workshops and technical centers of several local machinery companies, and saw many mechanical products step into the front line of national construction from here, and also learned the role of many steel parts. It can be said that after several days of practice, although we can't fully understand the connotation of mechatronics, we can feel the charm of mechanical design and the exquisiteness of mechanical processing.
In mechanical design, my first impression is the team spirit of those engineers, who can argue about the size design of several parts for a long time. I felt the sweat of the designers behind a finished machine. However, after several days of practice, the development of new products I have seen mostly stays in ordinary mechanical design, lacking some high-tech components, which I think we need to consider in the future.
In terms of machinery manufacturing, I visited the CNC machining center of the factory and various large and medium-sized processing equipment. With the help of these advanced equipment, the workers are not as tired as when they used to operate with power lathes. Moreover, with the help of computer, the errors of machining depth and size can be basically eliminated. The teacher who took me is a worker who graduated from a technical school 10 years. He said that although he doesn't have a high degree, he can still easily control the truck-sized machining center. He said that mechanical design and mechanical manufacturing are important components of mechatronics, and workers in all positions are inseparable links of a finished machine and even a finished part. Although he is experienced, he carefully measures every data every time he needs to use manual distance adjustment. He said that machinery manufacturing is a sophisticated industry. It is impossible to be accurate without a meticulous mind. Moreover, the positioning in this process is the key to the success of mechanical products processing, because the latter are automatically processed by machines, so there is no need to worry about mistakes, as long as the data is not wrong. Finally, after more than ten adjustments, he finally entered some data into the computer to complete the final automatic processing. Compared with the previous measurement, this process becomes very easy with the help of the machine. Of course, this is entirely based on advanced technology and the development of machinery industry. Every time I see a huge machining center processing a precision part to the extreme, I have to sigh the technicality of the mechanical and electronic industry.
Behind the advanced technology, of course, it is inseparable from the hard work and many practices of electromechanical people. In the case that the workload is far greater than that of other industries, workers have achieved the primary productivity of the whole national economy with their diligence and wisdom. It can be said that the mechanical and electronic industry is at a high level in technology and workers' efforts.
In the weeks after the start of school, every time I listen to the professional wheel class, I will have a deeper understanding of the charm of the mechanical and electronic industry and the scientific and technological content contained in it. After listening to Professor Wang Xinjie's lecture on green casting, I feel that although the technology of domestic machinery industry has made great progress in recent years, the overall technology is far less than that of some developed countries such as the United States, which started earlier than us. Now China's machinery industry is still in the process of processing, and what is lacking is the progress in design. Some people say that our education and development history is not as advanced as other countries, so how can we compete with developed countries with advanced technology and a long history? Admittedly, this is an undeniable fact, but as long as we have this confidence, even if we learn from others, we can still make our own characteristics in this industry. For example, it used to cost 500 thousand dollars to buy a set of finished parts molds from abroad, but if we develop and design ourselves, the overall fund will not even be 500 thousand dollars. This decrease shows the importance of technology. This example will continue to urge us to cultivate more innovation in this area.
Mechanical and electronic specialty is a highly technical specialty. I think it is impossible to learn well without the spirit of suffering. Of course, in the future, whether you are employed after graduation or studying abroad, you need to learn mechanical major well during your undergraduate course. Although I haven't studied mechanical courses in depth in my freshman year, I think learning its basic course descriptive geometry well is the premise of mastering drawing skills more skillfully in the future. Including the three-dimensional software solid work and the two-dimensional software autoCAD that we have learned, are the first steps for our future employment and better development.
Choosing mechanical and electronic major requires an unparalleled sense of dedication to the design field. I believe that China's machinery industry will make great progress in the future.
