Advantages and disadvantages of raising chickens in Yunnan
This sinkhole is called "cauldron circle" and is located in Wude Town, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. 20 15 was discovered by cave experts. What's even more surprising is that there are 10 sinkholes of different sizes around the cauldron, which constitutes the largest sinkhole group in Yunnan. One of the largest sinkholes is shaped like a sunken iron pot, so it is called "cauldron".

The pit of the "cauldron ring" is a relatively regular round body with steep cliffs and lush vegetation. There is a cave hidden at the bottom of the pit, which is bigger than the basketball court. This hole leads to the sinkhole. There are several houses in the cave, with 8 families and 32 people, including adults, children and the elderly. How did they get to the bottom of the pit? Why do you live in a cave? What do you do?

With these questions, my friends and I drove to the town where Tiankeng was located, drove along the mountain road, asked people all the way to the parking lot halfway up the mountain, and then walked down the pit. I heard that there was no road before, so I had to use a sling to go up and down. Later, I built a path and slowly descended along the cliff of the sinkhole, with one side of the cliff and the other side of the cliff. It took about forty or fifty minutes to get down to the bottom of the pit.

The bottom area of the pit is very large, and many vegetables and fruits are planted, including corn, pumpkin and potatoes. There are chicken houses and pig houses at the entrance of the cave, and chickens and ducks can walk freely. There are several rows of houses in the cave. There is an old woman sitting in front of the house, facing the hole. There is a small basketball court in front of the left house, with two earthen stoves beside it. A man is lighting a fire in front of a stove. From his mouth, I learned that several families here have different surnames and have moved here for decades. He said that he was born and raised here, and now all the children are in school, and the cave is also connected with water and electricity. Although it is still inconvenient to go out, it is still inconvenient.

Later, after inquiring about relevant information and asking around, I realized that all the people who moved here were leprosy patients, because it was quiet and isolated enough. At that time, it was still 1953, and the medical conditions were poor. Only through this complete isolation can infection be prevented.

After 50 or 60 years, they have been gradually forgotten, and reappeared in 20 15 years, because cave experts discovered the tiankeng group. When they explored further, they found that there was actually a cave in the largest sinkhole "cauldron", and several families actually lived in the cave. Are descendants of leprosy patients in those days. Because the medical level has improved now, leprosy is no longer an incurable disease in those years, so there is no need to smell it again.

Chatting with the people in the cave, I learned that there is a cave in the cave, which is unfathomable, full of stalactites and dripping into pools. We came out halfway. I heard that you can go directly to another sinkhole, but I don't know if it's true or not. Because of the particularity and mystery of today's "cauldron circle", some people come here to explore, and because it is isolated and very quiet, some people rent a house here for a long time. For many city people, this place is like heaven.

It's just that it's not convenient for children living here to go to school. I heard that the school outside was unwilling to accept it at first, so I had to build a temporary classroom halfway up the mountain and invited a teacher to teach it. Later, the local ZF people came forward to solve their school problems, and now they can still see this classroom on the way down the pit.

From the first diaojiao building up and down, to the humble dirt road later, to the slate road and cement road today, the connection between the "cauldron circle" and the outside world is becoming more and more convenient. I asked a big brother who lives in a cave if he wanted to move out. He said he didn't want to. He is used to it. Would you move out if it were you?
