First, the current characteristics and ideological status of middle school students
(-) Middle school students are of low quality, and they do not need grades, political examination or files to enroll in school. This leads to the uneven quality of middle school students, and some even have bad records, which brings great difficulties to student management and teaching.
(2) Middle school students are young, have weak recognition ability, most of them are only children, and have poor awareness of self-protection. These students are easily influenced by others.
(3) There are few funds for students' management and activities, and there is no atmosphere of entertaining.
Learning weariness is a common phenomenon. Its performance is:
1. Frequent truancy, some because of poor cultural foundation, lack of understanding of the courses studied and lack of interest in learning.
2. The classroom is a mess. In some classes, one-third of the students sleep in the classroom, and in some classes, one-third of the students don't attend classes or listen passively.
Copying homework has become a common practice. When a teacher corrects homework, he often finds that there are only four or five "versions" of students' homework in a class. Some students are not ashamed of copying homework and failing exams, but proud of it; Or not, accept it.

(9) The phenomenon of puppy love has been repeatedly prohibited. Puppy love has become a difficult point in student work. Due to the precocity of physiology and the influence of the media, students' puppy love tends to be younger and younger.
Through the investigation and analysis of the above-mentioned middle school students' ideological status and characteristics, I deeply realize that only by attaching importance to students' ideological education and student management can the school develop and strengthen students' ideological education, which must be highly valued by leaders at all levels of the school. Second, some suggestions on strengthening students' ideological education
To strengthen the ideological education of technical secondary school students and cultivate high-quality builders for the motherland, we should achieve "one, two, three, four, five and six", that is, set a goal, grasp two key points, standardize three responsibilities, play four roles, clarify five tasks and solve six major problems.

Play four roles
1. We should give full play to the role of teachers and students in the whole school, especially the role of teachers in educating people in the classroom.
2. Give further play to the core role of the student department manager.
