At present, the main component of most automobile tire materials is natural rubber or synthetic rubber, and the comprehensive performance of natural rubber is better than synthetic rubber, so advanced tires use natural rubber. In order to make rubber have the properties needed to make tires, different chemical materials, namely chemical additives, must be infiltrated into rubber. One of the most important additives is called carbon black, because carbon has special adsorbability, and carbon particles combine with rubber molecules very well, which enhances the hardness, strength and wear resistance of rubber. Because carbon black and rubber are basically the same, the main material of automobile tires is actually a composite material of rubber and carbon black.

The internal mixing process can be divided into three steps.

Step 1 is to add carbon black, oil, raw rubber and various small materials. This process takes about 4-5 minutes. Carbon black can be divided into white carbon black and black carbon black. It is a reinforcing agent for rubber and plays a reinforcing role. All kinds of small materials added are mainly compounding agents, which have the functions of aging resistance, dispersion and wear resistance, and can improve rubber processing technology, tire performance and tire quality.

The second step, add small materials, film and carbon black, which takes about 3 minutes.

The third step, adding sulfur, takes about 3 minutes. Sulfur can make rubber elastic and durable. Sulfur is added to the final rubber mixture and vulcanized to form the final product mixture.

These rubber compounds are extruded by an extruder, and then these rubber compounds are isolated and cooled by isolators to form different semi-finished rubber strips, such as tread, sidewall/bead, triangle rubber strip and so on.

The tire consists of upper rubber, sidewall rubber, shoulder rubber, carcass rubber, belt layer, transition layer, airtight layer, parting rubber, upper triangle, lower triangle and bead radial rubber. The rubber surface is wear-resistant, and the sidewall ensures the elasticity (high ride comfort) of the tire. Shoulder pad rubber is pure natural rubber. Generally, natural rubber is used to bond the belt and carcass, which belongs to the auxiliary compound of steel cord and plays an auxiliary role in steel cord. The transition layer is the rubber between the tread and the belt, located between the belt and the airtight layer, which plays a role in bonding two tires and improving the life and quality of tires. The upper part of the traveler is called the upper triangle and the lower part is called the lower triangle. The traveler's body plays the role of skeleton. Bead radial rubber is used between the bead ring and the carcass.

Then enter the semi-finished product workshop, molding workshop and vulcanization workshop, and lead us to visit Director Liu. Various adhesives processed by the internal mixer enter the semi-finished workshop. The preparation process of adhesive tape parts is divided into six sections: the first section: extrusion and the second section: calendering. The raw material cord passes through the calender, and a thin layer of glue is hung on both sides of the cord to form the cord fabric, so as to ensure the thickness of the calendered product. The third section: beading, which is formed by winding multiple steel wires with glue. Rubber used for bead has special properties. Section 4: Curtain cloth cutting: Cut the curtain cloth into appropriate width and connect it with joints. Step 5: Stick three corneas, and the triangular rubber strip extruded by the extruder will be stuck on the bead manually. Part 6: Belt molding. The zero-degree zone plays a relaxing role. The main processes are extrusion, heating, cooling and forming.

Entering the molding workshop, the process of tire molding is to assemble the processed carcass, belt, tread, beads and other parts into the shape of the tire through the molding machine to form a green tire. After the raw tires are inspected, they will enter the vulcanization workshop to vulcanize these raw tires. Putting the green tire on the vulcanizing machine is related to temperature, pressure and time, which produces a chemical reaction and makes the rubber of the green tire more elastic. Finally, it is vulcanized into finished tires. After vulcanization, the tire will have the pattern and model of the finished tire. After the finished tire is produced, it has to undergo final inspection and X-ray inspection. After passing the inspection, it will be transported to the finished product warehouse.
