Explain the measures to prevent cracks in mass concrete.
Common measures for crack control of mass concrete;

Slag cement with low hydration heat (1) is preferred for mixing concrete, and retarder is used appropriately;

(2) On the premise of ensuring the design strength grade of concrete, appropriately reduce the water cement ratio and reduce the cement dosage;

(3) reduce the temperature of concrete entering the mould and control the temperature difference between inside and outside the concrete;

(4) cover the concrete with heat preservation and moisture preservation materials in time;

(5) The cooling water pipes can be embedded, and circulating water can be introduced to take away the heat inside the concrete for artificial heat conduction.

(6) When mixing concrete, a proper amount of micro-expansive agent or expansive cement can be added to compensate the shrinkage of concrete and reduce the temperature stress of concrete.

(7) Set up post-cast strip. When the plane size of mass concrete is too large, post-pouring belt can be set appropriately to reduce external stress and temperature stress; At the same time, it is also beneficial to heat dissipation and reduce the internal temperature of concrete.

(8) Mass concrete can be plastered twice to reduce surface shrinkage cracks.
