Lead: What is the writing method of references? This has become a topic of concern to recent graduates. The following is the writing of the relevant references I shared, hoping to help everyone.
Writing of reference documents
(A) Description method
Sequential coding system: that is, the documents cited in citations are sorted by Arabic numerals in the order in which they appear in the works, and the serial numbers are placed in square brackets, and the serial numbers are used as upper corner marks or as part of sentences according to the specific situation. The arrangement format of the list of references after the text is arranged in order. Appears in the text.
(2) Reference project description
1) Principal (monograph author, editor-in-chief of anthology, degree applicant, patent applicant, journal article author, precipitation article author). Multiple authors are separated by ",". Please note that the abbreviation "."is not allowed in this data. The main person in charge is only listed in the top three, and three people add "wait". Later, only the names were listed, and then the responsibilities of "writing", "editing", "editing" and "co-editing" were omitted.
2) File title and version (the first version is abbreviated).
3) Identification of file type and carrier type.
4) First edition (first edition place, publishing house, first edition year).
5) The source of the document or the available address of the electronic document.
6) Start and end page numbers of the document.
7) Document standard number (standard number, patent number ...).
(3) Types and identification codes of references
1) According to GB3469, the following types of references are identified by a single letter:
Monograph (m)
Paper (c)
Newspaper articles
Journal articles (j)
Dissertation (d)
Report (r)
standard
Patent (p)
Undefined (z)
2) It is suggested that the single letter "A" be used as the file type identification of the precipitation files of monographs and collections, and the undefined identification code "Z" be used for other unspecified file types (such as reference books).
3) For references to electronic literature types, such as databases, computer programs and electronic bulletins, double letters should be used as identification:
database
computer program
Electronic bulletin
4) Carrier type and identification of electronic documents:
For electronic documents with non-paper carriers, when they are cited as references, the carrier type should be marked in the reference type identification, which is usually indicated by two letters:
tape
Disk (DK)
CD-ROM (CD-ROM)
Online network
There is no need to name the carrier type of traditional literature with paper as its carrier when it is cited as a reference.
5) Generally, the following format represents the reference contribution type including the document carrier type:
[File Type Identification/Carrier Type Identification]
For example: [db/ol]- (database online) online database.
Tape database.
CD-ROM Books (Monograph on Tape)
[CP/DK]- (computer program on disk) Disk software.
[j/ol]- (serial online) online books and periodicals
[EB/ol]- (bulletin board system Online) Online Electronic Announcement.
(four) the format of all kinds of references.

Model of reference format for graduation thesis
I. Types of references
The type of reference (i.e. citation) is identified by a single letter, as follows:
M monograph c paper n newspaper article
Journal paper D paper R report
For files that do not belong to the above types, use the letter "z" to identify them.
For English references, we should also pay attention to the following two points:
① The author's name adopts the principle of "surname comes first, surname comes last", and the specific format is: surname, initials. For example, Malcolm Richard Cowley should be Cowley, M.R. If there are two authors, the way of the first author remains the same. &; After that, the first letter of the second author's first name is put in front, and the last name is put behind. For example, Frank Norris and Owen Gordon should be: Norris, F.&; Gordon;
(2) Titles of books and newspapers are in italics, such as Mastering English Literature and English Weekly.
