How does Elsevier cite references?
References published by Elsevier can be cited in the following ways. Please note that this is a general citation format, and the specific citation specifications may be different according to different academic fields and publishing requirements.

MLA format:

Author's last name, author's first name. "The title of the article." Journal name, volume number, issue number, year, page number range and publisher.

APA format:

Author's surname, author's name (year), article title, journal name, volume number (issue number) and page number range. doi/URL。

For example, the following is an example of quoting a journal article published by Elsevier in APA format:

Smith, doctor of law (202 1). The title of the article. Journal of XYZ, 10(2), 123- 145. doi: 10.xxxx/xxxxx

Please note that "doi" in the above example is a digital object identifier, which is used to uniquely identify the article. If the article does not provide doi, you can use the URL of the article as a reference.

When quoting Elsevier's publications, it is also recommended to check the official website or author's guide of the target journal to obtain the citation requirements and format guide of specific journals. This will ensure that you quote according to accurate specifications and meet academic requirements.
