We often use the 5W 1H analysis method in our work, but do you know how the 5W 1H method came into being?

The predecessor of 5W 1H is the "5W" model, which was put forward by Harold. Lasswell, a famous American political scientist and founder of communication 1948, in his paper "The Structure and Function of Communication in Society". In this paper, lasswell put forward the general mode of communication, that is, "what people say, who take what route, and what results are achieved."

There are five main communication elements in this model:

Which: Through what channels?

Who: To whom?

What effect: What effect was achieved?

This is called "one of the earliest and most influential communication modes" by many communication and public relations scholars. As a communication mode, "5W" undoubtedly provides a very good structured thinking framework for people. Ask questions:

Why do you want to do it? Who will do it? Where was this work done? What did we do in this step? What's the problem? How to solve it? How long will it take to solve (when)? How much can you solve? Why is there a problem?

Inspection work:

Where is the source? What's the problem? What is the reason? How to implement the measures? Who is in charge? How much will it cost? When will it be completed?
