Under the guidance of the leadership of the Blood Center, the laboratory has established and developed a high-precision platform for immunogenetics and forensic genetics, systematically carried out the research and application of gene structure and genetic diversity of various blood types in China, and carried out the research and application of various DNA genetic markers and polymorphism detection. Since the Guangdong Branch of China Bone Marrow Bank officially started construction on August 1 2000, more than 30,000 blood samples of hematopoietic stem cell donors have been genotyped, among which 73 voluntary donors in Shenzhen donated hematopoietic stem cells highly compatible with patients' HLA and successfully transplanted them in clinic. The number of hematopoietic stem cells provided by Shenzhen accounts for about 65438 in China. Since 2002, our laboratory has become a high-resolution HLA typing confirmation laboratory of China Bone Marrow Bank through national competition and bidding, and completed 1500 cases of unrelated donor/recipient HLA high-resolution genotyping for transplant hospitals in southern China, without any objection. In 2003-2005, 73 13 quality control samples were re-examined in 25 provincial matching laboratories, and * * * 185 HLA typing error samples were found. Through our HLA quality control work, the quality level of HLA typing in provincial tissue matching laboratories in China has been significantly improved, and it has been highly praised by the national management center of "China Bone Marrow Bank" and colleagues all over the country.
