Yangmei Oil Painting Department accepts first-year students from the Basic Department of the School of Modeling. In the first half year of entering the studio of oil painting department, they must concentrate on the training of oil painting basic department, learn the basic courses of oil painting specialty and learn the teaching characteristics of the studio through the teachers in each studio. The basic course of oil painting major is a prerequisite course for each major, and it will be studied in each studio after half a year. Oil painting major (studio) is a main course for students of this major, and courses in different professional directions are parallel. These include graduation writing and thesis courses. Students have been in the studio for two and a half years. The four studios have different professional directions and their own teaching contents, which means that students have started formal professional study. At the same time, each studio undertakes the elective courses of oil painting for students of other majors. The oil painting material performance studio undertakes the course of oil painting material techniques. Divided into two groups, one group is aimed at the students in the department: the regular course of the basic department of oil painting and the compulsory course of oil painting material performance needed by each studio. One group is an elective course for students outside the department.
