College students are builders and successors of socialist modernization, so they should study and practice the socialist core value system. In the face of great social changes, increasingly diversified social culture and diversified values of college students, I think college students can practice the socialist core value system from the following aspects:

First, we should seriously study and profoundly understand the connotation and spiritual essence of the socialist core value system. As the old saying goes, "On the order, know first". Without in-depth study and understanding of the connotation of the socialist core value system and a solid theoretical foundation, how can we effectively practice and steadily promote the socialist core value system in practice? Therefore, first of all, we should clearly put forward the basic content of the socialist core value system, which mainly includes the following aspects: adhering to the guiding ideology of Marxism; Adhere to Socialism with Chinese characteristics's ideal * * *; Adhere to the national spirit with patriotism as the core and the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core; Adhere to the socialist concept of honor and disgrace. We should not only remember the expression of words, but more importantly, we should understand and appreciate its true connotation, so as to internalize it into conscious action.

Second, we should do our job well, study hard and reserve the ability to serve the motherland in the future. "Jade is uncut, abrasive; People don't learn, they don't know righteousness. " For students, learning is still the primary task. To practice the socialist core value system, college students should be "proud of advocating science and ashamed of ignorance", establish solid professional ideas, love science, study hard, be brave in practice, strive to achieve excellent results and successfully complete their studies. In addition to learning professional knowledge and basic skills well, college students should also be "proud of unity and mutual assistance, ashamed of harming others and benefiting themselves", care for each other and help each other, and try their best to care for students who are relatively weak in learning at ordinary times. Kindly remind students of some wrong words and deeds and help them make progress together.

Thirdly, finally, we should integrate the practice of the socialist core value system into our daily life. "I feel very shallow on paper, and I have to do it when I know it." Only in the practice of live ammunition can the socialist core value system truly shine its value, and only in the practice of big waves and sand scouring can the socialist core value system continue to develop and improve. As college students, practicing the socialist core value system in life should do the following.

(1) Be diligent and thrifty, "be proud of hard work and be ashamed of extravagance and waste", and develop good living habits. Start with me, start with the little things around you. For example, before you leave the dormitory, you must turn off the water and electricity, cherish the food, clean the dormitory, and don't indulge in online games.

(2) Establish a service concept, take serving the people as a habit, make it a life attitude, and strive to realize its own value by participating in various platforms such as volunteer service. The school provides many opportunities for college students to volunteer. College students should be clear that volunteer activities are not only to cope with the hours on the volunteer card, but more importantly, the concept of serving the people should be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and effectively reflected in daily life.
