Brief introduction of Hebei Institute of Cultural Relics
Hebei Institute of Cultural Relics is the largest archaeological research institution of cultural relics in Hebei Province, which is mainly responsible for the protection, investigation, excavation and research of underground cultural relics in the province. Since the founding of New China, the archaeological work of cultural relics in Hebei Province has achieved fruitful results. Many ancient cultural sites and tombs have been discovered, and a variety of cultural relics have been unearthed, many of which are major archaeological discoveries renowned at home and abroad. Such as the Paleolithic cultural site in Nihewan Basin, Yangyuan, the prehistoric cultural site in Cishan, the Shang Dynasty cultural site in Gezhuang, Xingtai, the Shang Dynasty cultural site in Taixi, Gaocheng, the national tomb, the Yanxiadu tomb, the ancient city site of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in the Warring States, the tomb of King Zhongshan, the Zhao cultural site, the Qin Palace site, the Han Tomb in Mancheng, the Northern Dynasty tomb in Yecheng, the Xuanhua Liao Tomb, the Yuandongdu site and the Yuandongdu site, among which, it was excavated in recent years. Archaeological excavations have made great achievements, and archaeological research on cultural relics in Hebei Province has also achieved fruitful results. Up to now, * * * has published Yanxiadu, Tomb, Hebei Archaeological Collection, Hebei Unearthed Cultural Relics Collection, Northern Archaeological Research, Anping Eastern Han Tomb Mural, Baoshan Chu Bamboo Slips, Sleeping Tiger Qin Bamboo Slips and so on. Among them, two monographs won the Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Sciences in Hebei Province.
