Hunan Leiyang Normal School was established in 1958, located in the center of leiyang city. At present, there are 1800 students in full-time general secondary education. Since 2000, the school has enrolled some professional higher vocational students, and jointly run schools with Hunan Normal University, Hunan University of Science and Technology and other universities, with undergraduate and junior college majors 15.
