How to write an argumentative essay on popular culture?
When I got the title, my first thought was what is pop culture-TV series or advertisements? Or pop songs, movies, bestsellers?

Undeniably, pop culture is very attractive to our teenagers, although I don't like pop culture itself. For example, some bestsellers, I think are all shoddy cultural fast food, and for example, pop singers who babble on the stage. In my opinion, these can be described as "vulgar".

With the change of society, popular culture has influenced our life in all directions, and it seems to be the mainstream and powerful thing in this society, and it is everywhere in our contemporary life. It has profoundly influenced our lives and constructed our culture. It can be said that it has influenced generations. Part of this generation has begun to become the mainstream of this society, but these popular cultures that support them are in an embarrassing state. To tell the truth, we are immersed in Jay Chou's ambiguous music and those fast food cultures, and influenced by popular culture much more than those of classical culture.

The sensory experience, intuitive stimulation and gorgeous form of popular culture have influenced the younger generation everywhere in the lives of contemporary teenagers, and skillfully cater to teenagers who are undecided about their body and mind and lack judgment ability. They created a kind of happiness like bubble gum. Our generation has never experienced wind and rain and has not left the classroom. How can we understand the complexity of society? How can you feel the bitterness of the world without experiencing suffering? Without a sound cultural orientation, where can we know where to go and make the right choice? We are completely helpless and can only be at its mercy. When teachers give lectures, they often take out a stack of books and talk about Tang poetry, Song ci, Yuanqu, Ming and Qing novels, instilling classic culture in us. In fact, when I go home, I will go to see a Chinese Odyssey, Japanese drama Korean Wave, Backstreet Boys and Stephanie. We appreciate and love this culture, and feel that it provides me with happiness, although it is only simple happiness. They have constructed my emotional way, my values, my life style and my yearning. In a sense, it has influenced my life.

Of course, what is really important is to read those heavy and important works that have been screened by history, which will unconsciously promote you, improve you and influence you. Yu said that only classics can give you a vast space and a long time, convey the signals of all noble souls that have long disappeared in history, and present all the beauty and wisdom to you together with ignorance and ugliness.

As a phenomenon, pop culture has its reasons for existence. Culture is a big river. If any era can't provide diverse cultures, then the whole cultural river is a dead river and a stinking river. However, as teenagers, we should still breathe more with the classic culture.
