Fire Science and Technology is an academic journal jointly published by People's Republic of China (PRC), Ministry of Public Security and China Fire Protection Association, with well-known experts, scholars and academicians at home and abroad as its editorial board.

Founded in 1982, it is the core periodical of Chinese, the core periodical of China science and technology, the abstract of China academic journal, the statistical source periodical of China scientific papers, the academic journal of China, the data-digital periodical group of Wan Fang, the database of China scientific journals, American chemical abstracts, Cambridge scientific abstracts and Russian periodicals.

It is well-known in the field of fire protection at home and abroad for its large amount of information, large circulation and high technology content.

As the first academic publication in the field of fire protection in China and an important garden for fire protection academic exchange, Fire Protection Science and Technology has been at the forefront of fire protection science and technology in China for more than 20 years, cultivating and bringing up the backbone of fire protection science and technology in China, and becoming a window for the fire protection industry in China to exchange fire protection science and technology with foreign countries.
