Born in August, 1970, graduate student, doctor of medicine, party member, professor, doctoral supervisor, chief physician. He is currently the president of West China Clinical Medical College (West China Hospital) of Sichuan University. He was a member of the China medical team that helped Africa fight Ebola. In 2003, he fought SARS in Chengdu. 20 17, served as a member of the emergency medical team in Sao Tome and Principe, Sichuan Province, providing medical assistance for half a year.
In 2000, he entered West China University of Medical Sciences to study PhD, and served as Party branch secretary, deputy secretary and executive deputy secretary of the Party Committee of West China Clinical Medical College (West China Hospital) of Sichuan University. Introduction to Luo's achievements
He has been engaged in the research on the pathogenesis of respiratory diseases and altitude sickness for a long time, especially in lung development, regulation of airway inflammatory reaction, interstitial lung disease, respiratory intervention, and management of chronic diseases of altitude respiratory system. And it was found that Foxa2 targeted gene knockout led to Th2 inflammatory reaction in lung.
On 20 18, Luo led the respiratory endoscopy center of West China Hospital to complete the first hot steam ablation of emphysema in Asia. He has presided over more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and published more than 80 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, including more than 20 in SCI. He has won the China Medical Science and Technology Award, the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education and the Chengdu Science and Technology Progress Award.
